Various alterations to the landscape including re-alignment of garden boundary, replacement fencing, gate piers and gates, ha ha, garden pavilion, glasshouses, astroturf tennis court, selective removal of shrubs/trees and extensive replanting scheme.

Continued use of Heathfield House for educational purposes (Class F1) for Special Educational Needs School with part of the adjacent garden area to provide recreational space for students. Works include new internal doorway, other internal alterations, the erection of fencing around proposed external play areas and other ancillary outdoor space, signage, landscaping/tree works and improvements to existing public car park and pedestrian pathway.

Visitor access improvements with partial change of use of farmhouse (ground floor) to accommodate new staff workshop and change of use of stables workshop (within Birthplace) to create visitor display area. New garden storage container. Alterations including widening and surfacing to existing pathways, with re-grading of levels to accommodate improvements and some footpath reconfiguration. Hard and soft landscaping works, fencing and removal of trees/shrubs. Creation of new pedestrian route from existing car park with surfacing improvements. Alterations to cobbled farmyard to Birthplace including new surfacing, modification of attached wall to accommodate widened footpath and infilling of opening in sandstone wall between farmyard and garden.

Alterations to ground levels, erection of retaining wall and steps, extension/alterations to existing retaining wall to south, alterations to boundary fencing to north, east and south, erection of pergola and associated hard and soft landscaping and tree planting (part-retrospective application)
