The proposed development comprises the installation and operation of a ground-mounted solar farm and energy storage system. The solar farm will broadly comprise a series of linear rows (also known as arrays) of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, together with inverter platforms; control room; DNO station; storage containers; battery storage; security fencing & CCTV; temporary construction compound; and enhanced landscaping & ecological management. Development of four tennis courts with external lighting, fencing, clubhouse and associated parking, drainage, utilities and landscaping

Development of the site for port-related uses. Provision of hardstanding for storage of cargo (e.g. motor vehicles) in transit through Royal Portbury Dock with associated infrastructure, including security fencing, lighting, CCTV, surface water drainage, landscaping/planting, and vehicle access from Marsh Lane. The operational area will be set within existing hedgerows and field boundaries around the periphery of the site, which will be retained and enhanced as part of the proposals, including the Land East of Court House Farm Local Wildlife Site in the eastern most field.
