Works to facilitate the lawful conversion of the upper floors of 104-106 High Street, Sevenoaks to 2 no. residential apartments and alterations to the fenestration.

Conversion of building from office to residential use by the creation of 4 flats (3 x 1 bedroom and 1 x 2 bedroom). Creation of basement flat and internal alterations. Removal of bay window to front elevation and replacement with a new window.

The works are to remedy the dry rot present within that the internal dividing wall between Apartment 14 and Apartment 15, which includes replacing existing timber plates to the internal diving wall and infilling them with reclaimed brickwork with a lime-based mortar and reinstatement of the timber panelling. In addition to the removal and replacement of the lintel over the Apartment 14 window, replaced with a similar size stress graded D40 timber. The insecure infill masonry above the opening will be made good with class iii lime-based mortar and re-bed bricks. Along with the replacement ceiling joists in Apartment 14.
