Listed Building Consent for restoration of Len House, rebuilding of 2 bays to Palace Avenue and associated new build works to provide a mixed-use development comprising: (i) Retention with alterations and change of use of Len House to provide commercial floorspace within the following uses - retail, financial and professional, cafe or restaurant, drinking establishment, offices, clinic or health centre, creche, or day nursery, gymnasium or indoor recreational purposes uses (within classes E, F2(a) and Sui Generis) at ground floor. (ii) Provision of 22no. residential apartments (class C3) at first floor by conversion and erection of a part rear first floor extension and provision of 58no. residential apartments (class C3) in a two storey roof extension with rooftop amenity space (iii) Associated landscaping to roof. Replacement of roof covering with natural slates and replacement of rainwater goods with PPC steel and replacement front door. Replacement of non-original balusters to staircase and replacement of non-original lobby at the head of basement staircase; and other minor internal and external alterations referred to in the variations approved under 22/02257/VOC and by 21/03695/VOC. (Please note: The reference number for this Listed Building Consent application is 22/04544/LB but there is also an associated application for Full Planning Permission related to these works with reference number: 22/04543/FUL). Re-consultation exercise for a further 14 days. Reason:- Correction to description of development to refer to the increase in the party wall, reduction in height of the proposed extension, and increase in depth to the basement lightwell.

Refurbishment of the existing elevations of 50-52 Westgate including re-roofing, repointing, repair and replacement of windows. Conservation and repair of existing stone bank facade found behind red granite cladding. To the rear of Barstow Square re rendering of elevation 2 with hot lime render, removal of the first and second floor of elevation 3 and part of elevation 4. New lean-to roof over remaining ground floor and basement. Development relates to previous applications 19/01811/LBC and 19/01810/FUL.

Listed Building Consent - The proposed development replaces the existing poor quality lean-to kitchen extension. The proposed replacement utilises the existing foundations and plinth brickwork. The existing rendered masonry walls will be removed and replaced with a larch clad studwork. Finally the existing poor quality glazed roof will be removed and replaced with a new Lonsdale glazed roof system. The proposed renovations are of the exact same scale as the existing kitchen extension

Minor Material Amendment seeking changes to approved application (Ref: DC/19/03545/FULL1 and DC/19/03546/LBC) for the Old Town Hall Phase of development to include the omission of the link bridge and roof level dormers within the 1907 building, reconfiguration of the courtyard landscaping, minor oversail of hotel façade, alterations to the 1939 courtyard facing dormer roof, reduction in size and repositioning of the conservation skylights, alterations to the main building entrance, provision of a new opening to pavilion terrace, replacement of courthouse floor, rationalisation of basement cycle storage and the addition of a restaurant use to the permitted drinking establishment use within the former Courthouse Building. Listed building consent for a proposed development comprises the installation of 3 No. new 4G/5G EE antennae located on the face of the one northerly facing and one southerly facing flag tower turrets painted black / grey to match existing EE antenna thereon. On the roof of the Flag Tower behind the parapet further ancillary apparatus will be located consisting of feeder cable tray and feeder cabling, 3 No ‘BoB’s’, 3 No. AHEGB’s 3 No AHHB/RRH’s, 3 No AZQL/RRH’s and 3 No. E14R00P42’s. All other electronic apparatus will be located internally on the second floor of the flag tower within the existing racks and supported from steel frame walkway.
