Listed Building Consent - Construction of new link between existing house extension and detached annexe, new porch to existing extension and associated alterations

Listed Building Consent for internal works, including alterations to the bar and relocation of the customer toilets into the cellar to the rear and other refurbishment works. External works, including a rear extension (with storage and cellaring, a kitchen and bar to serve the beer garden, and a staff break room); the installation of a timber seating structure; construction of an outbuilding to house disabled access and family toilets; construction of a glass canopy over part of the patio seating area; a new bin store; an new lobby/porch to the door on the west side of the building; the installation of a kids play area; extended carparking, new surfacing and landscaping; and other associated works.

Application under Section 19 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 to vary condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission reference 193173LBC dated 30.08.2019 for Application to vary (under S19) consented works of listed building consent reference: 183265LBC dated 05/12/2018 for: Demolition of two and three-storey extensions (to north and south of Place House) and replacement with part single, part two and part three-storey extensions for use as a four form entry secondary school and sixth form (840 pupils); refurbishment of Place House, garden folly and gate house; associated hardstanding and boundary treatment works; and refuse and cycle parking storage (Listed Building Consent). Amendments seek approval for alterations to reconfigure internal layout of the existing listed building (Place House) to comply with fire regulations; changes to the Main Stair, Sixth Form Study Area and the Entrance Exhibition; additional details including new fire doors, ceiling and extended repairs due to mould, and door blockages to match the existing wall construction (Variation of Listed Building Consent).
