Variation of Condition 1 of listed building consent dated 26 June 2016 (15/09739/LBC) for Refurbishment and replacement of facades and erection of 2 additional floors and plant enclosure to both Millbank Tower and 1 additional floor to the Y buildings; excavation of basement levels; demolition of rear car park in association with re-landscaping and reconfiguration of wider site; all in association with the use of the Tower as 207 private residential flats (Class C3) and Skybar (ancillary to adjacent Class C1), the south podium and part of tower as an arts/ cultural facility (Class D1) and the north podium and Y buildings as a 150 bedroom hotel (Class C1) with restaurant, bar and cafe at ground floor level. Reconfiguration to front and rear ground floor elevations including for access to South Molton Lane, alterations to upper floors to accommodate residential use, removal of staircase to 19 South Molton Street, reinstatement of historical features on first and second floors, repair work to historical staircases and reinstatement of balustrades, some reconfiguration of ground floor and basement layouts including backfilling of rear basement compartments, lowering of basement floor level to numbers 15 and 16 South Molton Street, installation of roof level plant, roofing and other associated works. Removal and re-instatement of modern ceilings and amendments to flooring at lower levels, provision of fire and acoustic compartmentation, installation of wall linings to lower levels and other associated works. Repair, reinstatement and alterations following fire damage to two residential dwellings, including rebuilding of fourth floor and roof; internal refurbishment works to ground, first, second and third floors; installation of plant and associated works.
