Replacement of bay and sash windows like for like - Possibly double glazed.

We have recently bought 2 Butts Corner. It is a holiday let, and has been for some time. We had a fire risk assessment done. Relevant recommendations were as follows: a. the automatic smoke detection needs to be upgraded to a D1 LD2 system installed to the requirements of BS5839p6. This system should consist of mains powered, wirelessly interlinked smoke and heat detectors. There should be a heat detector located within the kitchen, smoke detectors on escape routes ie landings and hallways, within all habitable rooms, and within all bedrooms. b. It is required to install a fixed emergency lighting system on the escape route to aid escape in the event of power failure at night. These lights can be surface mounted, integrated into the existing lighting or recessed. All emergency lighting should be installed by a competent electrician as per the recommendations contained within BS5266. c. The bedroom doors appear to be of solid wood construction however will require upgrading. These doors can be treated on the risk side of the door with intumescent paints such as 'envirograf'. The door on the ground floor that protect the escape route are poorly fitting and have excessive threshold gaps. This door requires replacing. Note that all doors should be upgraded to feature cold smoke seals and intumescent strips and self closing devices to ensure that doors are kept closed. Do these upgrades require us to apply for listed building consent?

We would like to reinstate internal door which has been blocked after the planning approval was given in 1988. We will obviously take professional advice and work to current building regulations. Currently there is no alternative internal access . I will forward original plans with the door in question. We would also like to decorate internally & windows externally . We would use the external paint colour to match the attached barn, namely 2 Green Farm Barn. We would like to reinstate garden gates that have been removed. Again ,I have attached original drawings with the position of the gate. This is for both security , privacy and the safety of children and pets.

Works to replace decayed and damaged gutters, down pipes and a soil pipe. Removal of plastic and replacement of all goods with cast iron to original pattern.

Removal of door and infill with brickwork (Flemish bond). Existing brickwork quoins each side and the overhead brick header course to be retained (amendments following LA/22/1609)

Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of listed building consent LA/18/0345 (Internal and external works associated with conversion of stable block to form 5 dwellings for holiday letting and events/function facility) to allow for alterations to approved internal and external works

Extension and internal alterations to include demolition of two-storey rear extension and erection of single-storey rear extension, installation of painted timber doorcase, alterations/repairs to fenestration, re-rendering of external walls, installation of tiles extraction terminals, removal of internal partition walls and staircase/installation of new walls and openings, removal and installation of fixtures/fittings and new dry lining.
