The proposal looks to create two independent units (as per the original layout) by blocking the modern opening on the ground floor linking Orchard Cottage to the original apple and pear store. Alterations to the independent dwelling to the west will include the removal of a portion of the south wall together with the demolition of some modern internal partitions and a new extension towards the south to accommodate new communal spaces.

Replacement of all existing windows with Heritage Double Glazing to closely match original style. New front door to match similar period doors. Demolition of porch to reveal date stone.
