Listed Building Consent for demolition of a section of existing curtilage listed boundary wall to create access for residential development

Partial demolition, conversion, alterations and extensions of Ealing Town Hall to provide a new hotel and retain community, publicly-available facilities and Democratic Services, with associated development (Listed Building Consent). The proposals comprise an application by the London Borough of Ealing likely to affect the character, appearance or setting of listed buildings, locally designated assets and/or of a Conservation Area.

Demolition of a section of the stone boundary wall on Tynemouth Road and Station Terrace to facilitate access to a development comprising 130sqm Class E unit and 71no. one, two and three bedroom residential units with 43 car parking spaces, cycle parking, public realm improvement and landscaping on land to the south of Tynemouth Station and car parking on land to the north of Tynemouth Station.

Variation of Condition 12 (i) of listed building consent dated 3 July 2013 (RN:12/07766/LBC) for demolition and rebuilding of rear section of building, excavation to create a two storey basement, extensions and associated refurbishment of Grosvenor Gardens House, to provide 42 residential units (Class C3) on first to seventh floors; reconfiguration at ground floor level to provide mixed retail use (Class A1 and/or Class A3); wellness facility, residential storage, plant, car and cycle parking at basement levels; and public realm works to Eaton Lane (23-47 Grosvenor Gardens and 44-52 Buckingham Palace Road). NAMELY, to amend the wording of Condition 12(i) to enable the removal and storage of historical doors during the construction phase of the development.
