Application for Listed Building Consent for change of use and conversion to seven, self-contained flats, comprising 3 No. one bed flats and 4 No. two bed flats; together with erection of a single storey rear extension and second floor rear extension with formation of external stairs to rear courtyard and installation of access gates in south-west boundary wall together with internal alterations to facilitate the change of use and restore and renovate the external elevations including re-painting windows and doors and partial restoration and re-painting of plaster to front elevation.

Full renovation of flat 14 and flat 15, including joining the two flats into a single flat unit creating an opening in the party wall, alterations to the interior layout, addition of suspended ceilings, new flooring with acoustic insulation, redecorating, new kitchen/bathrooms fittings and finishes, new joinery, upgrade of services, replacement/refurbishment of windows, new secondary glazing, new boiler flue at rear.

Renovation of the external appearance of this Listed Building rectifying inappropriate works, mostly dating from the 1980s when the property (with adjacent property) was a London and Quadrant Hosing Association group home for the mentally handicapped. Additional fire doors were required for that use, but on sale and conversion to residential flats c 2001 some of the old features, such as the prominent alarm box and basement window guard were left in place. Internally the door frames from some of these additional fire doors were left in place rather than stripped out. The proposed works seek to rectify this and correct other non-compliant alterations such as the added uPVC windows, added to the rear, and reinstate as box sash timber framed windows

Conversion of the upper floors to provide 5 apartment units. Alter front entrance to upper floors; renovate and double glaze windows to front and rear elevations; re-site one staircase from first floor to ground floor; minimal internal wall removal to produce access doorways; internal stud partitions, kitchen and bathroom facilities (Listed Building Consent)
