16 Queen Street Sible Hedingham Essex CO9 3RH
Notice of intent to carry out works to tree in a Conservation Area - Populus Alba tree in the grounds of 16 Queen Street, Sible Hedingham (highlighted in red circle on attached map). The tree is leaning towards and overhanging a public footpath. The roots are showing signs of instability and I suggest the tree should be felled as soon as possible. If the tree uproots, the only direction of fall is over the footpath that is regularly used by walkers. The tree is not in the best of health and in it's state I would suggest is also of no landscape value. Please see photo. I would suggest no replacement as it is too close to the footpath.
