Sycamore (T1) - reshape to last pruning points, approx. 4 metres reduction, lift to 2.5 metres above ground level and to provide 2 metres clearance of garage roof - cyclical maintenance.

There are 3 Lime Trees Numbered no 1. no 2. no 3 on the attached sketch at the back of the block of flats which need pollarding to the level that they were cut to 3 or 4 years ago. This is required because of excessive shading. There are 2 rather straggly Elder Trees Numbered No 4 .No 5. on the attached sketch which are beginning to touch the roof of the Industrial Building the other side of our boundary wall. We would like to cut them back completely and replant more suitable small trees.

1 Ash Tree see pictures Request to remove the ash tree as the tree is in close proximity to the house, approximately 7ft from the front wall. The roots of the tree can be seen where they disappear under the house or very close to it. There are signs of slow cracks in the concrete at the front door. These were small hairline cracks in June 2020 when the pictures were taken. . This can be seen in the picture. In addition, One large branch has grown over the roof of the houses (including No3) and when the leaves grow they are sitting on the roof.

Birch B: Remove branches overhanging into neighbours garden as per photo. T6. Yew: Cut back overhang from neighbours Yew trees, with neighbours consent, as per photo. Trees are overgrowing on this side and fence is pushing over.

Rear garden T1 Tree of Heaven x 2 (Ailanthus altissima) These previously reduced trees have outgrown their location blocking light from several properties and gardens. Suggested works: - Reduce all round to previous reduction points approx.6m Rear garden T2 Magnolia x 1 (Magnolia spp) This tree is growing very close to the property and is touching the roof and blocking light. Suggested works: - Lift over roof by removing branches that effecting the roof to the main stem. - Reduce remaining crown all round back to previous reduction points approx. 1-2m leaving furnishing growth. Rear garden T3 Holly x 1 (Ilex aquifolium) Suggested works: - Trim all round to shape and contain.

T1 - Oak, Quercus robur - located on the LHS of the rear garden, closest to the house. Reduce crown by up to 4m and lift branches away from roof of adjacent shed, creating at least 1m clearance. Remove any dead, dying or dangerous branches above 25mm in diameter. T2 - Ash, Fraxinus excelsior - located on the LHS of the rear garden, adjacent to T1. Reduce crown by up to 4m, (the crowns of T1 and T2 grow together as a single crown). Remove any dead, dying or dangerous branches above 25mm in diameter. T3 - Ash, Fraxinus excelsior - located on the LHS of the rear garden, approximately halfway along the LHS boundary. Reduce crown by up to 4m. Remove any dead, dying or dangerous branches above 25mm in diameter. T4 - Ash, Fraxinus excelsior - located on the LHS of the rear garden, next in line from T3, (following the LHS boundary towards the rear boundary). Reduce crown by up to 3m, sever ivy at base of the tree's trunk, and remove any dead, dying or dangerous branches above 25mm in diameter. T5 - Ash, Fraxinus excelsior - located on the LHS of the rear garden, next in line from T4, (following the LHS boundary towards the rear boundary). Reduce crown by up to 3m. Remove any dead, dying or dangerous branches above 25mm in diameter.

T1-Evergreen Magnolia(M.grandiflora) -reduce crown height by 1.5m to suitable growth points. -reduce all sides to shape, balance and tidy. T2-Magnolia(M.soulangea) -reduce crown by 20%(1m) to suitable growth points to shape to more rounded canopy line. -trim back lateral branch length to match. All above works are for routine maintenance. Below works, are encroaching the roof line of the side wall of the timber shed and roof line. T3-Nearest RH rear boundary next to shed Cypress (Cupressus) -section fell to ground level.

A Silver Birch tree which has grown very tall and needs to be pollarded by 30%. Insurance of house demands all trees be 7 metres away from the house, this one is not and they should not be more than 3 metres high. This is is higher than the house and in winds sways a lot and could snap potential damaging our roof. We would like to pollard by 30%. Crown lift up to 2.5m or 30% of tree height but the resulting pruning wounds will be no greater than 100mm

Front garden of no 10: T1Magnolia x 1(Magnolia spp) This tree has grown to close to the properties and branches are now knocking on the window keep the residence of no 12 awake throughout the night this tree is also touching the properties roof and guttering. Suggested works: - Reduce back to suitable growth points from number 12 the orchards by 1-2m.

To carry out tree surgery, including a lateral tip reduction by 4-5m of the limbs that overhang 55 Chatsworth Road, to Oak T1 (south-eastern side of crown only) - to reduce the amount of leaves and acorns falling onto the roof and guttering (to partly exercise common law right). Tree works to be carried out by a contractor approved by the Arboricultural Association.
