Works to a tree in a conservation area: T1 - Loquat x 1 (Eriobotrya japonica)- crown reduction, reducing the height by 1.5m and the lateral growth by 2-2.5m to suitable growth points - this will maintain the privacy screen between residents flats but also reduce the amount of fruit the tree produces. To maintain the size of tree it is recommended that there be a three-year pruning cycle.

Works to trees in a conservation area: T1 - Large Sycamore tree on the right-hand side of front garden. The tree is causing excessive shading to property. Routine maintenance, reduce by 30% to previous points and remove lower limb on right-hand side of the tree growing towards building. T2 - Large lime tree in middle of front garden. Re-pollard to previous historic points and remove lateral limbs growing towards building. Tree is currently touching flats which is also suffering with issues of light and damp. Remove lower lateral limb to trunk and lower lateral limbs to be removed from stems growing towards house where more vertical branches are available.

Sycamore (T1) - lift and cut back eastern laterals. Cut back eastern laterals by 3m from 6m to 3m to give adequate clearance from the building. Crown lift live canopy to 4m above ground level. Work undertaken to improve light conditions in flats and prevent damage to structure. Silver Birch (T2) - lift and thin. Crown lift live canopy to 4m above ground level and crown thin by 20%. Work undertaken to improve light conditions in the front garden and prevent crown causing issues over the public highway.
