Works to various trees within Enfield Town conservation area - 1 x cedar (T1) - reduce branches overhanging property by upto 2.5m - to reduce seasonal nuisance. 1 x holme oak (T2) - remove 1 limb and reduce branches overhang on roadside by 3m, cut back to clear property by 2m remove one lower limb - tree is overhanging public road with low hanging branches. 1 x London plane (T3) - thin crown by 20% and crown lift by 3m - alleviation of shading / increased daylight/sunlight. 1 x London plane (T4) - but back to clear registry office window by 2m, crown lift to clear property by 3m - to manage the growth of tree in relation to neighbouring property.

T1 Ash - Fell. T1 is a small self-sown Ash tree growing beside the small retaining wall to the west of the offices. There is a small crack developing beneath this tree and no other cracks were seen along the span of the wall. It is likely that the Ash tree has caused this cracking due to soil displacement and the crack will enlarge as the tree grows. To reduce any further damage occurring to the wall, the tree should be felled.

- Tree species: Sycamore - The number used on the sketch plan. Tree number 2 in the ariel shots and plan - A description of the proposed works. The tree in question is a sycamore, part of a line of trees at the bottom boundary of the garden at the Red House. The neighbours living on the other side of the line of trees have been worried about the condition of the tree and have asked us to arrange for it to be felled and replaced - to mitigate the risk of it being blown down in a storm and causing significant damage. I have attached an additional three documents which set out the situation and provide some supporting evidence. When we worked with the council last year, to pollard a tree, the judgement was that whilst these trees were in a conservation area, there were no TPOs applying to them. T1 & T2 _ common Ash x 2 - Reduce back selected branches to provide 3 metres clearance from post office building

T1- Sectional fell. Cypress. Medium size limb faults with LV line within target zone (LV line fixed to private residence chimney breast) tree has low/medium amenity value to the local CA. Re planting of a native broad leaf (tree offices choice) within 2-3m of location (distancing from LV line). Thinning and reduction work not suitable for current species.

Apple tree (A1) - fell so as not to interfere with proposed garden office studio construction. The tree is of low amenity value and the fruit produced is not edible. No birds are nesting in the tree

T1: Leylendii. Removal to ground level. Tree is too close to boundary wall and neighbouring property. There is also a proposal to install a garden office where the tree is currently.
