4 large Conifer trees labelled 1-4 on the sketch plan. The plan is to remove them down to ground level . They are blocking significant amounts of light and are disrupting the driveway of Andway Cottage, two nearby fences and the shed of 3 Paynes Meadow. They appear to be the only conifer trees on 3 Paynes Meadow and Andway Cottage properties; other trees nearby on Pyotts Hill all appear to be deciduous so they seem out of place in comparison. See conifer tree photos document. 1 Hazel tree (tree 5) & 4 Beech trees - labelled 6-9 on the sketch plan. The plan is to remove them down to ground level. They are very close to the house, less than a meter, and are blocking significant amounts of light and overhanging the roof of Andway Cottage contributing to moss growth on the roof and blocked gutters. T14, Western Red Cedar: Reduce height of overhanging limb by 3m and trim base foliage to give 1.5m height clearance above the fence and shed roof. T23, Western Red Cedar: Reduce to give 1.5m height clearance above shed roof.

T1. Lilac, to be dismantled and removed to ground level due to close proximity to house, severe over shading inc the neighbour's house/garden and having little amenity value. One of the large limbs currently rests upon the shed roof, the applicant has drainage problems due to debris

T1 Oak on left hand side in rear garden of No. 57 - Option 1: Remove 3-4x lowest horizontal limbs overhanging garden of No. 55. Option 2: Reduce back overhang from garden of No. 55 to edge of lawn/path line by approximately 1.8-2m of branch length. T2 Oak on right hand side of rear garden - Reduce back upper crown overhanging lawn area by 1.5-1.8m of the branch length. Remove epicormic growth on garden side. T3 Multi-stemmed Sycamore on right hand side of back boundary in rear garden - Remove epicormic growth and 1x lowest horizontal limb overhanging shed roof.

Works to trees in The Hadley Wood Conservation Area: 1x hawthorn- reduce and shape crown by up to 1m and 1x Prunus cerasifera-remove lower left side lateral extending over shed roof, back to suitable growth point and balance crown removing up to 1m from lower right side laterals.

Birch X 2 - Remove stem and prune to clear overhead phone lines by 1m 3. Bird Cherry - Remove stem encroaching roof/guttering, prune back branches overhanging neighbouring garden to the boundary 4. Mixed group - Fell Elder closest to Bird Cherry, reduce remaining woody shrubs to 3m and trim back sides to shape/re-establish group boundary 5. Elm - Finish off reduction started from neighbouring garden - to balance on garden side (by upto 1m) 6. Mixed group - Fell Elder in centre of collapsed Willow, tidy stubs from Willow and prune back from neighbouring garden. Fell large Conifer. Crown reduce and reshape Cherry tree by 3m 7. Willow - Remove large bows overhanging the shed, crown reduce and reshape the reminder of the tree by 3m to shape. Remove several low secondary stems which are damaging the boundary fence 8. Elder - Pollard at a height of 3m

Rear garden: Hawthorn (A) - Crown lift to 2.3 metres above ground level to prevent branches fouling shed roof in next door garden (no. 30 Half Acre Road). Pruning no greater than 100mm.
