Conservation Area Notification - Horse Chestnut T1- The lower limbs are nearly touching the house, proposed work is to reduce the lower limbs to provide 3.5m clearance from the house. All cuts will be made to suitable growth points.

Conservation Area Notification for 1 (1) x Turkey Oak Tree- Remove ericormic growth up to crown and 1 (2) x Turkey Oak - Remove limb growing towards house both overhanging branches from neighbours property.

Conservation Area Notification for 1 x Yew (No. 2) - Reduce by 1/3 all over to stop branches encroaching on to house roof/gutters and garden. Reducing pollen output as shown on photo.

To repollard to same height as previously permitted the Hawthorn/Ivy hedging (1 on sketch), Ash (2) reduce from 7m-5-5.5m H, Maple/Sycamore (3) reduce from 7m to 5-6m H and Laurel (4) cut back to boundary. Pollarding required to keep road clear of obstructions (branches are frequently being broken off by bin lorry and other large vehicles as they pass) and to maintain overall health of the trees/shrubs and reduce risk of branches/sections breaking off in adverse weather. To reduce the Magnolia next to the house (5) from approx. 7-8m to 5-6m to maintain the overall health of the tree and to prevent it causing damage to the property; to remove the decayed limb from the Plum tree and prune the fruit trees (6) reducing height from approx. 5-6m to 3.5-4m, to maintain overall health; to reduce by 30% in height the Cotoneaster (7) Currently approx 5-6m H to maintain overall health of it and the surrounding vegetation including buddleia which are competing with it for light and resources.

Notification of tree works in a Conservation Area - Wellingtonia - fell - the tree has died and is now starting to lean towards the house. I am concerned that as this tree is over 90 feet tall and leaning the longer we wait before removing it the more dangerous it will be for the tree surgeon to remove

Conservation Area Notification - T1 Quercus ilex - Holm oak: Located on the north boundary wall; to reduce the height of this tree by 1m approx. and then to trim the sides of the tree using a hedge trimmer leaving a formal shape. Proposed Approx Height 5m and Radial Spread 2.5m T2 Ilex aquifolium - holly: Large tree located on the northern boundary near the School House and hot tub; we spoke for some time regarding this tree and it was decided that a suitable approach would be to; -Reduce the branches on the hot tub side by 2m. -Prune to give 1-2m clearance of the chimney. -Remove the young, adventitious growth in the centre of the crown, this will reduce the height of the tree slightly also. -Reduce the lower sections of the remaining crown to match in with the upper parts as discussed also removing 1-2m where necessary. Radial spread being reduced form 6m to 4m at the widest parts, generally 5m to 3m across the tree as a whole, height from 8m to 6m

Trees in a Conservation Area notification: T1 small chestnut - fell as pushing on old ragstone wall next to house. T2 willow - re pollard to reduce to fit size of area. Current crown spread 2 m- after pollard 1m. T3 beech - reduce by 2m ,selected limbs touching tiles on adjacent house. Reduce the tips of several limbs, overall crown spread will not change.

Tree in a Conservation Area notification: Single Holm Oak tree in the front garden measures approx. 13m in height. Request to reduce the crown by 4m. Request to reduce the main limb nearest the house down to main trunk about 3m from the ground.

Conservation area notification to remove lower branches of one Beech to height of 4m where they overhang Church Street and parking area for the house; Remove half of the principle stems (approx 20) of one Bay, and associated young shoots on the northern and western sides of the tree, where they grow adjacent to the Listed Building; Remove one Spruce; Cut two Holly to 2 metres and allow to re-grow. This will remove all the existing branches and foliage, leaving the trunks.
