To remove a leylandii. T1- Leylandii- Stem diameter- 1.2m, Canopy height- 15m, Canopy width- 8m. Large, asking for permission to fell this Leylandii, it sits near the boundary of a camp site, and poses a risk to both person and property. It has recently shed a large limb in high winds, luckily resulting in it hanging up in a neighbouring silver birch, stopping it from hitting the camp site, the rest of the tree is now vulnerable to further failures with a large gap now being apparent.

G2 Cypress, holly, hawthorn trees (excluding horse chestnut) - Cut back to boundary line between properties in the form of a hedge, reduce back from garage/shed to give approximately 1m clearance. T1 - Prune Apple located at the side of shed on the rear boundary according to the following specifications: ??? Reduce the longer limbs by approximately 1 metre to reduce the size of the canopy. T2 - Prune Himalayan Birch located at the rear of the property according to the following specifications: ??? Reduce selected upper limbs by upto 2 metres, shaping the top of the tree. Reduce side lateral branches by upto 1.5 metres to control spread. T3 - Prune Apple located at the left of the Himalayan Birch at the rear of the property according to the following specifications: ??? Low limb to the rear left hand side of the tree, reduce by approximately 50% to the repalcement limb. Undertake light crown lifting to allow access beneath the crown. T4 - Prune Portuguese Laurel located at the side of the Magnolia according to the following specifications: ??? Reduce in height by 12-18 inches and trim the sides hard back maintaining greenery. T5 - Prune Magnolia located at the side of the netted fruit area according to the following specifications: ??? Low limb over the netted fruit area. Reduce the low limb to an appropriate replacement limb. Reduce the secondary limbs growing towards the path. HAR/CA30, TPO 160W.

T1 - Yew - Reduce tree by 3.5 - 4 metres, and reduce retained lateral limbs to balance canopy (1.5-2.5 metres) to maintain at a reasonable size for location T2 - Cypress - Large twin stem conifer by corner of shed - remove thin upright stem between two main stems (leave the stem close to shed for now) and crown raise the canopy by 2 metres to allow more light underneath T3 - Cypress - Multi stem conifer, crown raise to match twin stem conifer in front (1-1.5 metres) T4 - Cypress - To left of shed, reduce canopy height by a third (1.5-2.5 metres), to allow more light to surrounding trees and garden T5 - Prunus - Rear boundary - dismantle and remove twin stem prunus leaning on fence over neighbours, poor form and causing damage to fence T6 - Yew - Remove two or three low select branches, and check and remove if necessary any small branches that are significantly fouling phone line, to clear services and left canopy away from cars

Silver Birch adjacent to lay-by in north west corner; 20% crown reduction. Cherry adjacent to lay-by in north-west corner; no more than 15% crown reduction. Yew along eastern edge of driveway; reduce eastern side of tree away from property boundary and reduce in height by 1 metre. Maple in centre of garden; 20% crown reduction. Prunus in eastern corner of garden; 20% crown reduction. Remove 1 x Hazel and 1 x Elder adjacent to shed; replant with Sweet Gum, Eucalyptus and Fig.

The property boundary at the rear of 26 High Street comprises of a row of ash and sycamore trees. Unfortunately, the ash trees are now all suffering from various degrees of Ash-die back. Permission was granted to remove two of the Ash trees year and this work was undertaken by Top Leaf Tree Services of Kiddlington. During the process he pointed out the areas of disease on all the remaining ash trees, some of it extensive, some less so. A large branch fell off one of the ash trees last year on to a neighbours shed and we would like to get the rest of the ash trees sorted and safe before this can reoccur. As the trees are on the boundary, all the trees have large branches overhanging the adjoining properties. As this disease is apparently unstoppable, the only solution is to remove all the ash trees and replace them with a species less prone to disease. The ash trees are sited in an awkward position and it is not possible to gain access to them with a vehicle. The only access is through a narrow gate in an old high garden wall. We are concerned that if the trees become too dangerous to climb, taking them down will become very complicated, more expensive and perhaps impossible. If permission is granted, a conservation based attitude will be adopted in the removal process. If the tree surgeon finds a tree which is not badly infected, has a high likelihood of long term survival, and can be made safe: only a minimal amount of work with be undertaken. The large two sycamores will be left in place and should go some way in filling the gap. Sketch plans showing location and size of trees provided in a separate attachment.

T3 - Mimosa : Fell. T4 - Neighbours Fir : Crown lift to 5m over tennis court. G5 - Various Hazel and Ivy : Cut back to approx. 1m behind netting. G6 - Sycamore and Beech : Crown lift to approx. 6m over tennis court. G7 - 2 X Beech and Maple : Crown lift to 5m over shed & lawn. T8 - Nyssa : Fell. T9 - Crab Apple : Reduce crown to previous pruning points. (Works within Hockering - Conservation Areas)

T 1- 2 x Alders on rear boundary- reduce crown by 30%. T 2- Flowering Cherry- reduce crown by 25%. T 3- Contorted Willow- pollard at 15ft. Q1 Boundary line running between properties 3 and 4. 3 x Silver Birches- reduce crowns by 30% mainly in height- remove lower lateral branch over shed. 3 x Conifers on boundary line 1st ,furthest away from property - remove leaving stump as low as possible- 2nd to be reduced to 8 ft if possible ( if not remove)- 3rd to be reduced in height to 10 ft. 1 Norway maple and 1 Sycamore on boundary line- thin crowns by 25% to allow for dappled light to gardens and property

T1-T2: Large dead Sycamore . Removal to ground level . Both trees are within failing distance of access road and tool shed. T4-T5: Beech. Both trees are close to L/H entrance of courtyard . Re-landscaping of the L/H bed is planned and the trees are blocking light to this area. T3: Ash . Removal to ground level of tree. Is in very prominent position and has Ash Dieback. T6-T7: Beech . Both trees are very close to boundary wall ( within 1m) and are approx 15 m tall. Removal to prevent damage to wall and laundry block. T8-T9: Beech . Both trees are approx 2m tall with base diameter of approx 300mm . Very top heavy trees with no scope for reduction . Removal to prevent failure. T10: Beech. Reduce lateral spread over road by approx 2-3m and lift to approx 6m to prevent further damage to delivery lorries. T11-T12: 2x Plums within G1. Removal to ground level . Both trees are diseased.
