Felling of two Ash trees on the boundary fence line. - Section 211 notice

The cherry tree sits in the South West corner of the property, just inside our fence line. It lies between the beginning of our drive / parking area inside our fence and the boundary along Stoke Road. The diameter of the tree trunk is 150 mm (15cms) at 1.5m high and the tree is circa 24 feet from its highest point to the ground. I wish to remove the tree as it is not flowering in its current location and is overcrowding the boundary flower bed. The Tree is possibly part diseased and only 1/3 of the tree produces any leaves. The Tree is a Cherry Tree.

T1 Ash- Reduce lower lateral on eastern side of tree by 6m. Lower lateral limb has Inonotus hispidus bracket approx. 2.5m along the top of the limb. Limb has a high lever arm over neighbouring boundary and new fencing. There is a high likelihood of failure due to the presence of Innonotus.

Immature Oak Tree (Quercus Robur) - Reduce the Oak tree height from approx 6m down to 4m by a Crown Reduction including trimming of branches near to or overhanging garden boundary fence with adjoining neighbouring properties.

Yew (T1) - Cut Back To/inline With Fence, Approximately 1m Off The Side. Sycamore (2) - Cut Back To/inline With Fence, Approximately 3m Off 2 Lowest Branches. Beech (3) - Reduce Side Over Property/drive By 1m. Sycamore (T4 labelled at T6 on plan) - Pollard At 5m. Sycamore (T5) - Reduce Back To Fence Line. Beech On Rear Boundary (G1) - Reduce Overhang By 3m. All Work To Keep Clear Of Property And/or Maintain Tree Size For Location.

Oak tree (E02 on submitted sketch plan). Reduce branches overhanging boundary fence on north-east side of the tree by between 1 and 1.5 metres, and undertake similar crown reductions on the south and west sides of the tree in order to maintain a balanced shape.

Mature Narrow-leaved Ash in rear of garden overhanging neighbouring properties to the rear and side of Driftwood House. Application to pollard current tree to a height of approximately 15 metres. Tree has not been maintained in previous years and is now excessively large causing excessive leaf litter to neighbouring properties and potential risk of damage to boundary fence.

REVISED SPECIFICATION TO DULWICH ESTATE LICENCE T1. Two Maple trees approximately 5.5m in height, situated on the front boundary with Court Lane. Reduce in height by up to 1m and re-shape as necessary. T2. A Holly tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. Reduce in height by up to 0.5m and re-shape as necessary. T3. A Purple Plum tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. Reduce in height by up to 1m and generally tidied including the removal of water shoots. T4. Two Oak trees approximately 16m in height, situated close together on the right-hand side towards the bottom of the rear garden. Lightly thin by up to 15% including the removal of any dead wood. The height and basic shape to be retained. T5. A line of Beech and Hawthorn shrubs/trees approximately 5.5.m in height and situated along the bottom boundary with Dulwich Park. Reduce to previous pruning points to align with the top of the wire mesh fence.
