The Old School House Main Street Shalstone Buckinghamshire MK18 5LT
Trim and cap two large yew trees adjacent to the Northern end of the Old School House. The Yew tree branches overhang the Old School House dwelling and are close to encroaching on the roof structure and rest on some of the roof tiles. The trees in their current state also provide excessive shading and cause constant blockages of guttering and drains in the vicinity. Trimming of the yews to reduce the spread and overhang of the trees to prevent encroachment on the Grade II listed building and reduce shading. Trim and cap two leylandii trees at the North Eastern edge of the Old School House plot adjacent to the home's drive and Main Street. These trees are very large, cause excessive shading and may become unmanageable if allowed to grow further. All four trees will be professionally managed by a qualified arborist / tree surgeon. All four trees are to be retained. All tree heights to be reduced by a third. Ideally work to be carried late summer / autumn.
