SECTION 211 NOTIFICATION FOR WORKS IN A CONSERVATION AREA G1, Mixed Species - Remove dead stems from ivy clad hazel to approx. 500mm from ground level; maintain clearance of lower branches over the driveway to a height of approx. 4.5m from ground level and 0.5m from kerb line. G2, Mixed Species - Prune back low branches in contact with the wall, fence to maintain a clearance of up to 1.0m where possible; prune low branches over paths to statutory height of 2.5m from ground level; prune branches over property roof to achieve a clearance of approx. 1.5m, targeting secondary points of pruning (approx. 1.5m lateral growth); remove Elder growing close to the fence and treat stump. T37, Horse Chestnut - Remove chestnut growing next to the fence to approx. 50mm from ground level. T38, Ash - Remove major and moderate deadwood; prune secondary branch to reduce potential notch stress by drop crotch pruning longer lower branches (see photo). T39, Lime - Raise low branches to approx. 4.0m by removing branch over shed and x 2 over neighbouring fence to source; remove x 2 low branches towards the Ash to source; raise remaining branches to approx. 4.0m from ground level by targeting secondary points of pruning; remove basal epicormic and elder. T2, Indian Chestnut - Reduce limb to the Southwest growing towards the Lime, by approx 3.0m of lateral growth; remove elders from basal area. T45, Sycamore - Reduce regrowth where squirrel damage is compromising structural integrity; remove moderate and major deadwood; maintain statutory clearance over the tow path. G5, 8 x Yew, Hazel - Maintain statutory height clearance of 2.5m over the tow path; remove moderate and major deadwood over the tow path; remove cluster of hazel in the corner of the chain-link & wooden fence. T43, Sycamore - Remove major and moderate deadwood from over the footpath. T42, Sycamore - Remove major and moderate deadwood. G6, Laurel, Yew - Prune to maintain a clearance of approx. 1.0m from the fence where possible; this will not include whole tree removal unless stems are less than 75mm in diameter; maintain statutory height clearance over public footpath. T47, Sycamore - Remove some lower understory laurels to achieve a clearance of approx. 2.0m from the base of the tree. T3, Sycamore - Remove sycamore and identified laurel stem.

T1 - Oak tree in back garden - tree reduced on extremity sections by up to 2.5m (2m to be used a maximum threshold wherever possible), pruning to strong subordinate growth to blend into existing shape of canopy. Crown lifted to 3m approx height, lifted off shed, away from fences. Front lower sections, left side overhanging garden sections, right side overhanging garden sections, back side of tree pruned back on worst areas. Not an overall reduction and no work will be done on height pruning. Only pruning on sections worst extended.

Recommendations: � Reduce crown by approximately 20% removing approximately 2m from the trees hight and side growth. � Removal of all major dead wood. � Raise crown to approximately 3m by removing secondary pendular growth. Reasons For Work Listed Above � Because there is the likelihood that property may be damaged and/or for the health and safety of people/life. � A crown reduction will reduce the chance of branch failure. T2) Silver Birch Betchula pendular Findings: � Tree situated in front garden, close to house on the left hand front side as you face the building. � Medium Mature. � Historical pollard pruning technique used has created a pore crown structure, with decay present at old pruning points that are now a point of potential failure. Recommendations: "Medium Priority" � Remove dead wood. � Reduce crown regrowth by approximately 20% removing 2m from hight and 1m from side growth. Reasons For Work Listed Above � Because there is the likelihood that property may be damaged and/or for the health and safety of people/life. � A crown reduction will reduce the chance of branch/union failures. Back Garden T3) Oak Findings: � Tree situated in back RH corner of garden garden near/over pond fences and shed construction. � Mature. � Tree is leaning with a greatly unbalanced crown. Recommendations: � Remove dead wood. � Reduce lateral and upper crowns growth by approximately 20% removing 2.5m from side growth and leaning hight. � Nothing to be removed from the trees central hight or lateral growth on the up side from lean. Reasons For Work Listed Above: � A crown reduction will help rebalance tree.

T1 - Willow - To crown reduce by approximately 2-2.5 meters in height (at its tallest points) to a height of approximately 20ft and in width as required to balance the remaining crown. G1 - Conifers - x2 conifer trees growing to the side of the shed in the back section of garden to section fell to ground level and grind stumps. G2 - Conifers - x 4 conifers growing along the rear boundary fence to fell to ground level and grind stumps. G3 - Conifers - Small "hedge row" of conifers that divide the front and back sections of the garden to fell to ground level and grind stumps T2 - ash - located behind the willow on the property boundary to sever a ring of ivy around the stem
