Details of Condition 4. Tree protection as required by planning permission 22/AP/2987 dated 25/11/2022 for construction of a single storey rear extension with integrated canopy. Demolition of the existing shed and construction of a new shed building and bike store to the side. Facade alterations to replace the existing windows and cladding. Renovation of the existing porch/garage to include a new roof, cladding and glazing. Installation of two rooflights to the rear roof slope. Boundary alterations to continue the existing hit and miss brick wall. Excavation works to create a lower patio level linking the new shed building to the main house and minor landscaping works to reform the front and rear gardens.

T1 - Marsh Cypress - 10% crown reduction in rear garden. My landscaping contractor told me in January 2015 that CCC had consented to the removal of this tree and grinding out its stump. He told me that a CCC conservation officer with responsibility for archaeology had also visited the site, and had no objection to this proposal. Having obtained further expert advice, from a local tree specialist, I decided it would be far preferable to retain the tree. However, this would be possible only if I could obtain consent for a 10% crown reduction each year, to ensure no further increase in its spread and the extent of its root growth. This was necessary to meet insurance requirements, the tree being close to the long boundary wall, the river embankment, and the dwelling itself, all of which are listed Grade II. The crown reduction having been approved in advance on each occasion to date, the work has been carried out January/February every year. The tree has continued to grow vigorously, is well-shaped, and remains suitable in size for its environment. I now seek consent for a 10% crown reduction, to be carried out by the same local specialist. The work proposed would be done during January or February 2024, when the tree will have shed its foliage and become dormant.

Submission of fencing details pursuant to Conditon 2 of permission 22/01112/HHOLD. Retrospective - Garden landscaping works consisting of works including removal of large mound/tree stumps, levelling ground, change of levels, new lawn, new retaining wall with metal railings, new patio area and steps, new fencing/hedging and erection of timber shed.

Details of Condition 9 - detailed drawings of a hard and soft landscaping scheme showing 11 trees and the treatment of all parts of the site not covered by buildings (including cross sections, surfacing materials of any parking, access, or pathways layouts, materials and edge details) required by planning permission 20/AP/1941 dated 18/12/2020 for 'Demolition of existing garages and pram sheds and the redevelopment of a new 5 storey residential building (Class C3) of 24 affordable homes comprising 8 x 1 bed flats, 6 x 2 bed flats, 8 x 3 bed flats/duplex and 2 x 4 bed duplexes. Plus associated landscaping works and 4no blue badge parking spaces'.
