Application under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for minor material amendments to planning permission reference: 2017/04800/FUL dated 18th December 2017; for Demolition of the existing buildings and redevelopment of the site to deliver a mixed use development; including 132 residential units (Use Class C3) and involving; a 5 storey building comprising a school (Use Class D1) with residential units above (Use Class C3); a 5 storey building comprising a replacement Nursery (Use Class D1), with residential units above (Use Class C3), 7 storey building comprising a replacement adult education centre (Use Class D1), with residential units above (Use Class C3), an 8 storey building containing residential units, (Use Class C3) with a restaurant/café unit at ground floor level (Use Class A1 and/or A3), a 9 storey Office building with ancillary ground floor restaurant/café (Use Class B1), a two storey building with rooftop MUGA, containing the new Youth Zone (Use Class D2), servicing, blue badge parking, cycle parking and new landscaped open space, including a new square. The changes include the repositioning of approved building footprints, alterations to the parapet heights, elevational design amendments, reconfiguration of the Volume C roof, removal of the internal servicing yard to Volume C and landscaping changes.

Variation of Condition 2 (approved drawings) and Condition 35 (composition of ground floor) and removal of Condition 33 (hours of opening for the A1 unit) of planning permission reference: 2018/02776/FUL dated 26th July for "Change of use of building from offices (Class B1) with mixed commercial units on the ground floor into a hotel (Class C1) with commercial use on the ground floor; recladding of whole building to all elevations; erection of a two-storey roof extension; erection of a ground floor infill extension to the front elevation; and associated highways works". Amendments sought are alterations to the layout of the approved ground floor with a reconfiguration of the reception area of the hotel and removal of the A1 coffee shop unit; and associated alterations to the shopfront to remove the entrance doors to the A1 unit.
