The changes to the approved drawings are the result of discussion / negotiation with the client for unit 1, the largest retail unit on site. Their particular business model requires a reduced gross internal floor area compared to the approved unit 1, and hence we have split off an element of the building to form a new unit 4 without altering the overall floor area of the building. There are also changes to the fenestration to allow access to this unit and accommodate the needs of the tenant for unit 1.
