Hybrid planning application (part detailed/part outline) for the redevelopment of the site for a mixed use development comprising up to 700 new market and affordable homes, new commercial floorspace space, land for a new school, a new Sporting Community Hub (including main stadia pitch, new artificial 3G pitch, playing pitches and new club house pavilion), public open space, landscaping, sustainable urban drainage areas, new roads and highway works, car and cycle parking and associated infrastructure. The detailed application comprises 74 new homes in phase 3 (with phases 1 and 2 built out) with required infrastructure including Gardiners Close road widening and access improvements to Gardiners Lane South, new sustainable drainage areas, public open space and wider road network linking the site north and south.
