Group T1: Small dead elms, fell T2: Hazel, (shown in photo 1), we would reduce by approximately 2.5 - 3m to bring back in line with the kerb. All branches pruned will be cut to suitable growth points. T3: Large dead tree, approx. 12 metres tall (difficult to identify a species), fell T4: Ash (fraxinus excelsior), to reduce the branches extending over the roof of Elizabeth house by approximately 3m. This will help mitigate the chance of large branch failure, as these branches are on a co-dominant stem of the ash tree, that is leaning in the direction of the building. T5: Windblown dead hawthorn, fell Group T6: Approximately 8 Oaks (quercus robur) and 1 sweet chestnut (castenea sativa). All roughly 18-22m tall. These trees are all over hanging the roof, and in many cases multiple branches are touching the roof of Elizabeth House. We would like to reduce these branches laterally by 2.5-3m, and in doing so create a 3 metre clearance of the roof. We would also remove deadwood over the roof of the building. T7: Declining, ivy clad hawthorn. Situated on the steep bank behind Elizabeth House, this tree is leaning towards the building and is in a state of decline, with around 20% leaf coverage of the canopy. It is tall for a hawthorn at approximately 8m in height, with a 2m spread. We would like to fell this tree to mitigate the potential hazard. T8: Oak (quercus robur), approximately 19 metres in height. To remove hazardous deadwood and also to reduce the lowest 2 branches by 2m. These branches are a little over-extended, protrude significantly from the canopy line of the tree, and are over the busiest area of the business premises, with the bin area, and frequent activity beneath them. I feel the reduction is justified considering the frequency of targets below. N.B I would have included more photos in the application, but all of the photos I have taken of the trees, apart from the one of the hazel, are over the 10 megabyte limit

G1 (Yew, Holly, Horse Chestnut, Maple, Beech, Laurel) - Reduce all trees back by 2.5meters back to boundary line to keep them well maintained as currently overhanging house and garden.

2 Ash trees as per photos and as identified These need to be felled due to branches falling and trees leaning. Also due to proximity of a public lane used by residents and a great number of dog walkers to reach the footpath. They are also close to a BT line , the house and swimming pool. If they or branches were to fall then severe damage and danger could occur.

I have 5 Leylandii trees at the front of my property we would like to have permission to remove reasons being: 1... We have had previous subsidence on our property , from a neighbouring Leylandii in 2004, 3.5 metres away from our property. The tree was removed and subsidence resolved. 2... The 5 trees we would like to remove are now causing the following issues for us. (a) There are a number of large roots growing across the top of the ground and just under the ground very close to our property. They have lifted our patio area just outside our front door. Which we have now just replaced. We are very worried these trees are going to cause further subsidence to our property. The trees are very large and so close to our house. The closest tree being just 3.5 meters away from the house, with a circumference of 2.8 meters. The estimate height of the trees being taller than a two storey house. (b) ..The trees are cutting out the neighbour's and our light. (c)...The trees are restricting and damaging larger vehicles travelling down the lane. (d)...It is becoming more difficult for us to get house insurance to cover subsidence due to the location of the trees. 3...Once the trees are removed, we would like to put up a 6ft tall closeboard Fence for security and in keeping with what the neighbours in the lane already have. We would then plant a hedge in front of the fence by the lane side for greenery for wildlife. tree 1. T1: Silver Birch: reduce lowest limb extending over garden by a maximum of 1.5m T2 &T3 Plums: Crown lift to a maximum of 3m and reduce back lateral limbs on the Northern side over the summer house by a maximum of 2m. T4 Ash: Crown lift to a maximum of 3m

T1 Willow: crown reduce by 3m leaving an approx. finished height of 15m with a crown spread (radius) of 15m and thin crown by 30%. T2 Sycamore: prune back branches encroaching the house roofline to give 3m clearance of the property

Ref 1 - Chestnut - Request to Remove - Tree Surgeon has advised that this tree has been allowed to grow too large for its location and is now casting a large shadow over the neighbours house. Ref 2 - Common Ash - Request to Remove - Tree Surgeon has advised that this tree was pollarded by previous owners and is now showing signs of rot and is very brittle. A large branch was found in the garden when we moved in in Sept 2022 very near the neighbours garage. Others branches are splintering. Ref 3 - Common Ash - Request to Remove - This tree has been planted on top of a mound of earth and allowed to grow slanted. This tree is now leaning towards the fence and neighbours garage. Concerned that this will cause damage in future.
