BAY TREE - Crown reduction - The BAY TREE is 6 metres high and 4.5 metre spread at present. Planned crown reduction to. 3.5 metres High, 2 metre Spread The tree at present is blocking light from our neighbours (no 21) top floor window as well as ours. The height of the tree at present is beginning to interfere with the overhead telephone cables to the properties. The height of the tree is preventing the operation of our outside PIR security light.

The client would like to fell x1 Walnut tree in close proximity of the neighbouring building. Very close the windows causing excessive shade and leaf litter.

T1 - Sycamore (2A Ballards Mill Close) - 1 branch to be completey removed as it is rotten, above this a branch to be reduced by approx. 3m as it is too close to the roof especially in full bloom, it also cut out light. T2 - Unknown address - Sycamore - to reduce 1 branch by approx 2m, as shown on photo. Too close to roof and limits sunlight. T3 - Unknown address - To reduce 2 branches by 3m each. Blocks out sunlight. T4 - Unknown address - To reduce 3 branches by 3m each. Blocks out sunlight. T5 - 3 Ballards Mill Close - Sycamore - To reduce 1 branch by 3m. Reduces sunlight and it is too close to the roof and the velux window. T6 - 3 Ballards Mill Close - Sycamore - To reduce branches 1 and 3 (as shown on photo) by 4m. Reduces sunlight and it is too close to the roof and the velux window.

We have 3 Leylandii cypress trees that create a hedge in our front garden and block a huge amount of light coming into our house through the ground floor and first floor windows, likewise for our neighbours who are also very keen for these trees to come down. We are also concerned that the trees are affecting the brickwork as the trees are right up against the wall. Pruning them is expensive and would need to be done three times a year. We would like to have permission to cut these three trees down possibly to be replaced with a low hedge. We have several other trees infront of the house including an elm directly in front which already blocks light.

CHERRY (T1) : reduce height by 2.5m. Reduce spread towards window and Royal Mail Sorting Office. Reason : the tree is hitting the Royal Mail lorries and shading the house
