The City of London Corporation has received a request for an EIA Scoping Opinion under regulation 15 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 for the redevelopment of a site including the Museum of London Rotunda and Bastion House, 140 - 150 London Wall. The proposed development comprises demolition of the existing buildings and erection of three new buildings for office, culture, community and retail uses; formation of new basement areas; reconfiguration of the existing gyratory; reconfiguration of the access/egress arrangements for London Wall Car Park; removal of existing areas of the highwalk and formation of new areas of highwalk and the provision of new public realm and landscaping (ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RECEIVED).

Demolition of the existing building at 1-6 Holborn Circus (known as Thavies Inn House) and the erection of a ten storey Class E building for office use with Class E retail use at part ground floor level with works to include reinstatement and new pedestrian routes through the site; hard and soft landscaping works including removal and replacement trees within the public highway, and creation of pocket park in Thavies Inn; widening of the footway on St Andrew Street; and other works incidental to the proposed development.

Demolition of the existing buildings and construction of a new building arranged over three basement levels, ground and 37 upper floors to provide an office-led, mixed use development comprising commercial, business and service uses (Class E), flexible commercial, business and service uses /drinking establishment uses (Class E/Sui Generis); and learning and non-residential institutions uses (Class F1); creation of a new pedestrian route through the site at ground floor level; hard and soft landscaping works; outdoor seating associated with ground level uses and other works incidental to the development.

Demolition of the existing buildings and construction of an office-led mixed use building arranged over two basement levels, lower ground, upper ground and 12 upper floors plus rooftop plant to provide a mixture of flexible retail, leisure and mixed retail/leisure uses at lower levels and commercial uses at upper floor levels; hard and soft landscaping works; outdoor seating associated with ground level retail and other work incidental to the development (Application under section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to vary conditions 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 45 & 46 of planning permission (18/01065/FULEIA) dated 28 March 2019).
