Retrospective consent to widen the private drive at it's junction with Mounts Road/Holmes Hill to enable safe and unrestricted access for tractors and farm equipment.

To continue the use of agriculture on a small parcel of land adjoining Potash Farm, improved vehicle access, and a field shelter is required to support the keeping of animals. The land has previously been used as pasture for cattle, the now reduced 0.93 acre parcel of land is more suited for other animals, such as a small number of pigs (2-3) and chickens (less than 25). Retrospective permission is requested for the improvements to the existing gateway, given the wet soil conditions, improved surfacing is required to allow vehicle access to the field throughout the year. 40-60mm recycled stone at a depth of 300mm will allow smaller vehicle access to access the site for any necessary loading or unloading of animals.
