Argyll House Yoxford Road Westleton Saxmundham Suffolk IP17 3AE
Retrospective Application - Replace a north-facing, very large, single glazed, rotten window with 2 double glazed sash windows, in keeping with the other windows at the front of the property. This window was our family lounge window (not part of the bed and breakfast business) and consequently afforded no privacy as tourists and villagers were constantly standing and looking in at us trying to relax in our lounge. It was also rotten and did not support the lounge roof above. A central pillar between the windows was necessary to ensure the structural integrity of our lounge roof. The window was north facing and single glazed with broken panes of glass, this made the room very cold and difficult to heat. This room was formerly a garage, the very large window was put it to replace the garage doors and is not part of the original property.
