35/2015 W1 mixed woodland - Works to 1no. multi-stemmed Sycamore - removal of one trunk (250mm dbh) due to branches growing over the boundary fence in to the applicants woodland. Works to 1no. Sycamore - The removal of one horizontal branch which is growing over the boundary fence and inhibiting the growth of adjacent trees.

Cut back branches of T1 Sycamore Tree under preservation order 22/2000 to a height of 5M above the boundary.

Lateral reduction of up to 3m of 2no. Sycamore trees within Woodland W5 of Tree Preservation Order 01/1959. Both trees overhang a public footpath before extending over the boundary line of property 32 Aspin Oval. The reduction of end weight overhanging the boundary will help reduce the risk to public safety and damage to property with the potential of summer branch drop or storm damage snap outs occurring.

G1 (Small trees, Cherry, Birch) - Prune back towards the boundary line. Lateral reduction up to 1.25m, maximum pruning cuts of 35mm, repeating previous works. Reduce back 1 no. Willow tree (T1) to boundary line giving 2metres clearance from building.

Elm tree (T1): Tag number 0340: growing onto boundary wall structure, to remove limb thats pushing wall. Elm tree (T2): Tag number 0406: growning over CAT Scanner air conditioning intake/exit which is causing an issue to its working function. To fell and replant with one flowering cherry ( 45 litre pot grown ) at front entrance of hospital.

Works to various trees within Harrogate Conservation Area. The schedule of work proposed is as follows: T1 Oak - crown lift to 5 1/2 meters. T2 Plum - remove the branches supporting purple coloured foliage to retain the 'type' green foliage. T3 Silver Birch - crown lift to 5 meters. T4 Silver Birch - reduce back lateral branch spread by 2 meters to boundary to clear the garage roof. T5 Crab Apple - reduce canopy dimensions by 2 meters height and spread to retain 3 meters height and 2-3 meters radial branch spread. T6 Oak - reduce back lateral branch spread by 2 meters to east to retain 3 meters radial spread. T7 Silver Birch - reduce height by 3 meters and reshape retaining 6 meters height and 3 meters radial branch spread . T8 Hazel - coppice to 0.5 meters.

One leylandi tree/shrub standing at entrance to property, to be removed as it is too large for the area it stands in and is damaging the boundary wall (the top stones of the wall are being displaced). A replacement bush/shrub will be considered once the damage to the wall has been assessed.
