1. Oak - reduce by 25% 2. Sycamore - reduce by 25% 3. Sycamore - Fell When standing looking face on to Ramsdale House on the left hand side and on the other side of the fence line there are a collection of trees, one oak tree is particularly large and over hanging our roof dropping debris and posing a risk to the roof and the solar panels we are about to instal in the event that a branch should fall - we took advice from the tree surgeon (Ed Chapman) who suggested reducing the tree by 25%, there is another very tall sycamore tree next to this oak tree which also needs a 25% reduction. When standing looking face on to Ramsdale house on the left hand side of the drive area (within our boundary) there is a sycamore tree which the tree surgeon advised is diseased and dying and therefor poses a risk to the house and the residents. He suggested chopping it down before the risk increases.

Remove timber gates and intermediate brick pier, re-paint rain water goods and timber fascia. Re-paint window/door frames externally and insertion of 2no. velux roof windows in south roof slope, resurfacing of hardstanding and erection of palisade fence on South boundary.

1 - Remove epicormic regrowth from trunk of one English Oak (Quercus robor) up to canopy break at 7m to clear garage. This work is historic. 2 - Prune back neighbours Hazel, Laurel, Sweet Chestnut and Douglas fir to the boundary fence and up to 8m and clear roof and conservatory by 3m. Lift low branches to 4m from ground level from one small Copper Beech and small multi stemmed Holm Oaks near clients hot tub. 3a - Fell to 100mm above ground level one Laurel leaning into garden at base of the mature Copper Beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Atropurpurea). 3b - Carefully remove as much root bole as possible, without causing damage to surrounding objects tree roots etc, by stump grinding to a depth of 150mm below ground level, no lateral roots will be removed unless specified. 4a - Fell to 100mm above ground level one Mountain Ash (Sorbus aucuparia) in front of children's play equipment to allow the area to be redeveloped. 4b - Remove as much root bole as possible, without causing damage to surrounding objects by stump grinding to a depth of 200mm below ground level, no lateral roots will be removed unless specified, all grindings to be left on site. two Beech (Fagus sylvatica) - Cut back two branches pruning back to 2.5 m from the rear boundary fence i.e. the apex of the shed roof parallel to the rear fence line. This will leave a finished radius of 3.5 and 4.5 metres. Pruning back to suitable live secondary growth.

Application to remove Sycamore trees (T1, T2, T3 and T4). The branches of all trees are coming into contact with the garage roof and the canopy of these trees is significantly shading our and our neighbours gardens. The trunk of T1 is at an angle of circa 60 degrees to the horizontal and is resting on the boundary fence and we have concerns regarding the long term stability of this tree. The concrete slab base upon which the garages sit has cracked and lifted adjacent to trees T3 and T4. The trees are not in particularly good condition.
