Conservation Area Notification - T1 Quercus ilex - Holm oak: Located on the north boundary wall; to reduce the height of this tree by 1m approx. and then to trim the sides of the tree using a hedge trimmer leaving a formal shape. Proposed Approx Height 5m and Radial Spread 2.5m T2 Ilex aquifolium - holly: Large tree located on the northern boundary near the School House and hot tub; we spoke for some time regarding this tree and it was decided that a suitable approach would be to; -Reduce the branches on the hot tub side by 2m. -Prune to give 1-2m clearance of the chimney. -Remove the young, adventitious growth in the centre of the crown, this will reduce the height of the tree slightly also. -Reduce the lower sections of the remaining crown to match in with the upper parts as discussed also removing 1-2m where necessary.
