We are planning to reduce the Crowns of the following trees T5 Lyme Tree closest to Norber House Sandringham Road to the Rear of our Property - Reduce in height by up to 10m reduce and overhanging branches F1 Fir Tree that has now grown to interfere with the branches of Lyme T3 - Reduce in height by up to 5m and reduce sides to maintain shape T4 Lyme Tree nect closest to our neighbour's house, Norber House, Sandringham Road - Reduce height by up to 5m and sides by up to 2m TPO 193E

T1- removal of magnolia tree due to dying and dangerous branches. The work will take place on the 22nd august and the home owner will be replanting like for like. HAR/CA9. TPO 60E.

This application is to fell three large Cedar trees and one Magnolia in front garden of 19 Prince???s Road. These are identified as T1, T2, T3 and T5 respectively in the attached plan. Approval to fell these trees had been granted on 30th March 2021, reference DC/079759, but the Covid 19 pandemic created practical difficulties to get the work done and the consent has expired. The text of the earlier approved application is provided below. All the facts presented at that time remain valid. The conditions specified by SMBC in March 2021 are accepted, including the planting of two new cherry trees (6-8ft standards).. The trees continue to grow and as an example, T3 is now calculated to be 23.1m high and is 10.2m from the corner of the tree owner???s house. Copy of text from DC/079759: Cedars (T1, T2 & T3) - fell because all 3 are over 20m tall and within 10m of house. Very large heavy trees would do much damage if fell during high winds. Crowns raised approx. 5 years ago but significant loss of light in front rooms of house. Roots encroaching on house. Boundary wall displaced by 30cm by T1. Also dead branches fall on the pavement and road. Garden will be professionally redesigned and include a selection of specimen trees including Acer, Magnolia and English broadleaf such as Hornbeam. Magnolia (T5) - fell because too close to house, loss of light, and leaning badly due to overshadowing by T1. HAR/CA21.

Changing a flat roof at the front of the house to a hipped roof to match either side. Adding a new open porch. Modifying the current Outhouse layout to include a bootroom. Modernising the interior of the main property including changing a bedroom into an ensuite and walk in wardrobe. Addition of a new carport in front of existing garage and extending the garage roof over the new carport. Removal of a Sycamore tree and nearby shrubs to enable the widening of an existing driveway. New vehicle access gates to new widened driveway entrance and new matching gates to be added to the second existing driveway entrance for pedestrian access. (Amended)

The relevant trees are located in the back garden of the relevant property. Permission is sought to fell them. 1. Palm tree (not native). Visible from the side of the property across neighbouring gardens, but not from the front of the property. Growing in close proximity to 2x mature and established apple trees. Confirmation has been obtained from an arborist that the proposed works can be undertaken without damage or impact the apple trees. Proposed works are sought to allow greater light to the back of the north facing garden. 2. Conifer hedge, made up of 3x individual trees. Visible from the side of the house and to the properties abutting the garden. Not visible from the front of the property. Takes up a significant portion of the back of the garden (1.8m). There is no reason to think that bats currently inhabit the hedge. Removal of both items will not impact the presentation of the conservation area. It would allow for significantly more space and light into the property's garden. HAR/CA36.

T1 Silver Birch - Front Garden. Strip Ivy, thin by 10-15 percent. Reduce long laterals going towards house and neighbouring property by 1-2 meters to reduce leaf litter in gutters. Cut branches away from telephone wires. Dead wood. No reduction in height. T2 Lime - Rear Garden. Cut back epicormic growth at the base to reveal trunk. 4-5 meters reduction in height. Overall crown reduction of 10-15 percent. Thin by 15 percent. T3 Cedar - 3rd party tree(11 Derby Road, rear garden. Tree has lost the top of its central stem in a storm. Reshape the crown by reducing long laterals by 3 meters and reducing the height by 1-2 meters. Thin by 10 percent and deadwood. HAR/CA15, TPO 18N.

T1 - Sycamore. Fell T2 - Beech. Fell T3 - Oak. Target prune to reduce overhanging canopy above garden by 1-2m T4 - Oak. Target prune to reduce overhanging canopy above garden by 1-2m. Remove lowest limb which juts out below main canopy to left hand side as viewed from the house. T5 - Beech. No proposed work - tree included in sketch for reference. The garden is dominated by the two large oak trees which have been previously reduced and hence have a particularly dense canopy. The proposed minor pruning is intended to ease the oppressive feel of the trees above the garden - however slightly - whilst not stimulating vigorous regrowth. It can potentially be repeated periodically and would be completed using MEWP for access. T1 is a self-sown sycamore in the very corner of the garden. Due to its position at the outside and end of the row of trees, it is a poor form - very one-sided and the canopy projects almost entirely over the gardens behind on Syddal Green. These gardens have no access to the road from any point. The client would like to remove this tree in order to allow more afternoon light into their garden, before the sun disappears behind the oaks. It is also our opinion that it would be preferable to remove this tree whilst it is relatively young, as any future work will become increasingly difficult due to its extremely awkward location, as the tree gets larger. There is a beech tree adjacent to the sycamore - marked as T5 on the sketch plan - which is a much better form and is set further back from the gardens on Syddal Green - our suggestion would be that this tree would develop better in the long term without the sycamore and would form a natural and much improved replacement. T2 is a comparatively small beech located mostly within the canopy of T3. The owners of 3 Syddal Close would like to remove this tree to allow more light into their garden, again without interfering with the large oaks. TPO 117W.

Single Silver Birch to the rear of the property, access from the car park of there Heaton Public House Didsbury road. The tree is to be removed to 3'. HAR/CA14.

T1 - Reduce crown of Cherry tree by up to 3m. Tree is growing towards the house and needs tidying and balancing up to stop it outgrowing it???s space. T2 - reduce lateral limbs of Cherry tree by up to 1.5m. Tree is overextending into the driveway and has become unbalanced. Work will be done outside of nesting season. HAR/CA34.

T1. Silver birch. Reduce height by 2.5 metres. Width by 1 metre and thin crown by 15 percent. T2. Very tall thin conifer overshadowing the house. Reduce height by 1 third and shape the top. T3. Same as T2. HAR/CA34.
