The surveyor brought our attention to the proximity of the tree to drains and foundations and the impact it could have on any plans for an extension. TPO 316 Trees along roadside in various states of health, size, age and position (some extend out into the road to an unacceptable degree). Some large dead branches recently came down in the road and the Hotel wish to make all the trees safe and maintain the clear passage of the highway. T1 and T2 on map (horse chestnuts): lowest branches rubbing against passing traffic. Proposed work is to reduce these branches back to clear the road, to suitable growth points or if none are available back to the main stem. G4 on map (Holm oak only): Large limb extends diagonally over boundary of road. Proposed work is to reduce tip weight by reducing of this limb by 1-2m to bring it back in line with the boundary edge.
