T1 - Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) Approx Height - 20m+ Location - Rear garden near left hand boundary just behind client small outhouse (bar) Work required - Pollard tree to second set of unions at approximately 12m Reason - tree recently had a very large limb fail which made up approximately a third of the trees crown, remaining crown now open to new wind exposure. The failed limb has created a slight longitude crack at the main union junction for the remain x2 stems at approximately 9m, crack susceptible to worsen through continuous wind loading. Multiple wood pecker holes up along remaining stems with clusters of fungal fruiting bodies believed to be Inonotus hispidus surrounding, possible cause of the major limb failure. Several dead holly trunks have been removed over several years. Other dead trunks remain. The trunks now have extensive growth of ivy and climbing weed. The holly hedge bordering the house is unsightly for the neighbours (Anfield). It has no amenity value. We would like to remove the line of holly hedge as marked above and replace with a fence. The holly hedge away from the house and bordering the garden remains strong and will remain as it is. There is no record in our deeds to suggest the hedge has a protection order. We have 50 ms ofholly hedge elsewhere in the garden.

My neighbours (No. 21 Cedars Avenue) huge pine tree overhangs my property and drops thousands of pines on my decking and on to my roof, thereby blocking drains. The birds that roost there also drop considerable amounts of droppings on my decking causing considerable and regular cleaning. I am also not sure the tree is in particularly good health & could be potentially dangerous. NB: This tree is under TPO 662 & has been lopped before, c10 years ago (under application 11/0622/TCA) but has regrown.
