1 x Lime Tree to be felled to the ground. 18 - 20 metres tall. Within 4.5 metres of the house. The roots of the tree have lifted the block paving and parking slabs causing trip hazard. Lifted slabs have caused car tyres to burst. Concerns roots are running near to underground services. Also causing complications regarding renewing building insurance.

Leaning tree- Red line pointing Sweet Chestnut - needs reduction by 3-5 metres, removal of dead branches and pruning. It is leaning onto the house exactly like the tree that feel last week. Photo with red line attached It is in the communal area of Hillpoint estate and all residents agree for the above work to be done. Oak tree -Red circle Has good amount of dead wood on the top so will need removal of the dead wood which would reduce it by 3-4 meters and pruning. I am attaching a letter from TRDC dated 18 April 2018 giving consent to work on these trees. The work that was carried out after that consent was given appeared to be significantly less than the amount of the permitted reduction. The trees now appear to have regrown to the same size as, or larger than, their size in April 2018 when the previous consent was given. In particular T2 is now (just) touching the house. I would like to apply simply for a renewal of the April 2018 consent in the same terms as that previous consent, ie to reduce T1 (beech) by 3m from tips, reduce T2 (beech) by 2m from tips, and remove any dead wood. The reason for applying is the same as before, that the trees have grown too large given their proximity to the house. Many thanks.

T1 - Conifer - Remove - front limb failed facing house, leaving a large unsightly bare patch, and mains sewer drains underneath had to be cleared in the recent past to remove roots (see pictures) - will be replaced with a broadleaf as part of re landscaping project T2 - Conifer - Crown raise to lift canopy giving 3 metres of clearance underneath, allowing more light into garden T3 - Oak - Remove significant deadwood for safety reasons T4 - Conifer - Remove as poor health and poor aesthetics

T1 - Maple - Crown reduction of 1.5 - 2.5 metres to reduce overall spread, and encroachment onto neighbouring house behind, to give more light to the neighbour, whilst retaining screening and aesthetics for owner

Silver birch tree in front garden of 23 Upper Hill Rise, position identified by T7 on plan. A large section of the tree has died and fungus has appeared on one of the branches. The tree is estimated to be about 60 years old, it was a mature tree when we first occupied the house 35 years ago and thus is nearing the end of it's natural life span. Removal of the dead sections which are all on one side of the tree (see photographs) would leave the tree unbalanced and at risk of falling. Whilst the tree remains as it is there is also the possibility of the tree falling. Should the tree fall it could cause serious damage to either our property, our neighbour's property or to any person on either property or on the pavement outside the properties. Therefore permission to remove the diseased tree is requested. Due to the presence of fungus in the area it is not proposed to replant.

Sycamore - fell because roots are impacting the house drain. Replant with one standard Photinia Red Robin tree in the same place.

T20 - Laurel - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T21 - Cherry Plum Tree - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T22 - Laurel - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T25 - Conifer - leaning heavily upon boundary fence to the extent fence is falling apart and impacting pavement on Parrotts Close. Inevitable this tree will need to be felled given at risk to falling on the road. Request for tree to be felled. T26 - Hawthorn - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T27 - Laurel - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T28 - Silver Birch - leaning silver birch tree, limited room or light to grow given surrounding large conifers, Very close to house. Request to be felled. T30 - Conifer - Partial cut back on NE facing side and on top by previous owners rather atrociously. In a corner 2 other large conifer trees. Request to fell this tree in order to open up space more and provide more light to the property as very close.

Oak tree identified as T1 in attached plan -- crown thinning 25% and height reduction of up to 2.5 - 3 meters. Yew trees identified as G1 in attached plan, totalling 10 yew trees. Crown height reduction of up to 2.5 - 3 meters. Yew trees identified as G1 in attached plan, totalling 10 yew trees, shaping and pruning of up to 2 meters for maintenance and to clear branch overhanging into neighbours properties. We have owned the house for 16+ years and have never done a crown height reduction on the Oak tree nor done any pruning, shaping or crown lowering on any of the Yew trees. It is long overdue. The work will be done sympathetically and without endangering the health and wellbeing of the trees.

Crown reduction at sides only - Cutting back branches off Leylanddi trees at the side of the house, on right hand boundary next to house. Many branches are overgrown and overhanging on top of the roof of the house and gutters of 3 Heathside road. To avoid any damage to the property it is essential to cut back branches by 1.5 metres across 5 trees T1 - T5 and 0.5 metres for 7 trees from T7-T12
