Tree Preservation Order Application : T1 - Sycamore. Fell and remove tree. The tree exhibits poor growth due to overcrowding, growing in close proximity with the neighbouring trees which have now been removed due to causing subsidence next door. T2 - Sycamore. Fell and remove tree. The second tree is causing significant issues to the outbuilding and has cracked the roof structure. The client is also concerned about subsidence issues having witnessed first hand the effect these trees can have on the house next door. Therefore the client wishes to mitigate this possibility and ensure the safety of their property and surrounding structures. Both trees are to be replaced by native species within one year.

Details of Condition 4. Tree protection as required by planning permission 22/AP/2987 dated 25/11/2022 for construction of a single storey rear extension with integrated canopy. Demolition of the existing shed and construction of a new shed building and bike store to the side. Facade alterations to replace the existing windows and cladding. Renovation of the existing porch/garage to include a new roof, cladding and glazing. Installation of two rooflights to the rear roof slope. Boundary alterations to continue the existing hit and miss brick wall. Excavation works to create a lower patio level linking the new shed building to the main house and minor landscaping works to reform the front and rear gardens.

T1 Beech near house crown raised over the roof by 3 metres and lightly reduced off house by 2 metres G1 Beech, Maple and Oak crown raised over the drive and field to no more than 4 metres

Remove young branches within 1000mm of house roof to stop growing into tiles and gutters x 1 Magnolia tree (A), remove as growing through staircase to allow staircase to be rebuilt x 1 Ewe tree (B)

Horse chestnut reduction - Reduce by 2m only on the east side of the tree leaning over the roof of the house. Cut to suitable growth points to preserve health and form of the tree, thinning and dead wooding will also be carried out where necessary.

2 OAK TREES BETWEEN THE HOUSE AND LINTHURST ROAD APPLICATION IS TO PRUNE AND REDUCE CANOPY SIZE AS BRANCHES ARE TOUCHING THE ROOF AND HOUSE MINIMAL PRUNING WILL BE DONE

T1. Norway Spruce. Remove and replant. T2 Lawson - removal of dead branches from the bottom of the tree. Crown lifting. T3 Hazel (T1) - partial crown reduction to cut back from hanging over the house roof. Trim back Holly/Laurel that has grown through it. T4 Western red cedar - cut back branches over hanging the road. Crown lifting T5 Wild Cherry - crown reduction

T1 - Paper Bark Birch - Reduce overall crown by approximately 1.5m. T2 - Paper Bark Birch - Reduce overall crown by approximately 1.5m and prune/remove tree root. T3 - Olive - Fell. T4 - Mimosa - Remove x 4 lower branches (Crown lift) to achieve a 1 meter clearance from the roof of the summer house. Reduce lateral growth overhanging the neighbours garden by 0.4m.

Prune Sycamore to give approximately 4 metres clearance from house leaving a final radius of approximately 3.5 metres and pruning up to approximately 2 metres above apex of roof pruning to suitable live secondary growth. Lift low branches to approximately 6 metres from ground level over clients garden only by removal of small branches up to approximately 10cm maximum diameter

TPO 06/1989 [89/00006/TPO] T.1 Lime - Reduce spread of two branches by between 2-4m and thin, as necessary, over the roof of the adjacent properties; T.2 Walnut - Reduce length of four large branches by up to 4m and no more, as necessary, over the adjacent properties and T.3 Lime - Reduce spread of tree to give 1.5m clearance to house. Werrington Conservation Area protected trees T. 4 Yew - Raise crown of over driveway to 4m; T.5 Norway Maple & T.6 Cherry Plum - Reduce height by 2m; T.7 Walnut - Reduce height by 4m & T.8 Silver Birch - Reduce height by 4m and reduce lateral branches to give 1m clearance to garage.
