16 Clermont Road Brighton Brighton & Hove BN1 6SG
The tree is an Acer Negundo situated in the front garden of 16, Clermont Road, Brighton. The tree has grown very large and needs to be reduced in size by about one third. It is also beginning to foul BT overhead telephone cables. The current dimensions of the Acer Negundo (Box Elder) tree at 16, Clermont Road are a height of 7 metres and a spread of 7 metres. At those dimensions, the height of the tree is causing it to start fouling overhead BT telecoms cables, and the spread is causing a sizeable overhang into the garden of number 17. I would like to reduce both the height and spread of the tree to 5 metres. The Acer Negundo is a fast-growing species, and this example was last reduced in size in March 2017 by this amount, and previously in 2012.
Old Quarry House 29 Upper Hartwell Stone Buckinghamshire HP17 8NZ
Full description, and drawing and key to identify and locate trees, included in the attached document - "Proposed Tree Works - Old Quarry House - October 2022". Removal of Dead Trees: - Fell and remove dead Spruce - referred to in the attached drawing as T8 This tree has died, we believe as a result of Honey Fungus, which has previously impacted a number of other trees at the property. The proximal spruce trees in the neighbour's property, referenced N1 & N2, are showing signs of stress as well. - Fell and remove dead Maple - referred to in the attached drawing as T14 This tree is fragmented and intermingled with the Holly, denoted as T13. The Holly is okay, but the Maple has died. Again, this is probably due to succumbing to Honey Fungus. - Fell and remove dead tree ??? referred to in the attached drawing as T19 This tree has succumbed over the past few years, assumedly again, to Honey Fungus. Prune overgrown trees to avoid future interference with Power and Telecommunications wires, and to mitigate against clay shrinkage impact on neighbour's property: - Prune the Sorbus back to previous pruned size at previous tree works planning application - referred to in the attached drawing as T12 This is a very large, mature tree, and it was previously advised to crown reduce by the neighbour's insurers at the time that the insurers demanded numerous trees were felled to mitigate clay shrinkage, causing subsidence to the neighbour's property. The tree has regrown significantly in the intervening period, and it is proposed to prune back to that original size. - Prune the Maple tree - referred to in the attached drawing as T11 This tree has grown to the point that it is now very close to power and telecommunication wires. It is proposed to prune this tree to restore a reasonable distance from electrical and telecommunications cabling, enabling future growth without damaging this infrastructure.
