Tree no.13 - Cut back to origin/base of trunk small diameter branch that originates at base of trunk to south. To abate concern over failure of part due to exposed wound and dysfunctional wood in lower section of branch. Note: several epicormic branches at base of trunk to south have been cut back in the past.

T1 is a walnut tree adjacent to the property. Regular maintenance, including crown reductions, have maintained the tree at a manageable size for its location for many years. It has reached the stage where the neighbour???s driveway and the residents retaining wall are starting to become damaged by the trees extensive root system. Felling the tree will prevent further damage to property.

At the request of our neighbours on the other side of these trees, the shade from which is damaging plants and shrubs in their garden, we would like to lower three walnut trees in our rear garden. Two of these trees were lowered in 2014 with Council permission (BH2014/00962), and the sketch plan is copied from the Council's agreement on that occasion, but with the third tree added. The trees have grown a lot higher since 2014, and our neighbours have asked us to lower them by "10-15 feet" (ie 3 to 4.5 metres), though we would prefer the lower end of this range. The work would be done by qualified tree surgeons.

T3 - Quercus Ilex - This tree has a lean of 45 degrees. Moves heavily in the wind. gives no light to the garden. In the event if it were to fall, there would be damages to the decking and fencing. Mr Battersby is very worried about this tree falling due to its angle at growth. Permission was given to take down the tree, next to it which had far less lean. Mr Battersby says the worry of it falling keeps him awake at night. We prepose to have the tree removed.

2 Sycamore trees to be reduced in size or completely felled due to damaging property behind. Also blocking natural light in to the basement property of the address. To pollard both sycamore trees in rear garden, ie, to remove all foalige, leaving only the main stem. Remove other small trees and shrubs in garden. All waste to be removed through the house, chipped and removed. The trees should not need to be cut again for at least 5 years. Total ?2750 To section fell both sycamores To ground level and remove all arisings, brash and timber. Cut various shrubs and small trees to reclaim the yard. Lime (T1) - Reduce tree back to historic pollarding points. Tree 15m in height with a view of reducing to 10m . Tree is very large and is causing excessive shading to several gardens. Tree is in a section of no man's land behind The Limes, 4 Saxon Way and 8 Court Close. There is no actual ownership of tree.

Sycamore - Front garden - Fell tree to ground level and grind stump and replant in the centre of the lawn (species yet to be decided). Reason - The tree is blocking light in to the front romm of the house. The tree started as a sapling and has become out of control and is getting too close to the house.
