Observations on a proposed development within the adjoining Borough of Croydon with respect to "Demolition of existing garage and erection of two storey side extension", at: 41 Crown Lane, Norbury, London, SW16 3JE

The proposal is to extend the rear of the property with a single storey extension extruding 2m from the existing building line, across the width of the property. The single storey extension is proposed to be 2m in depth and spanning the width of the northern elevation, excluding the garage area. To allow this development to proceed, there will not be a requirement to remove any trees. The project is to be built under the Certificate of Lawfulness (Permitted development) and the supporting report is to demonstrate how this can be achieved whilst maintaining the tree root system and minimizing the impact during construction.

Demolition of existing Holly Cottage, creation of new shared access route, and the re-building of a replacement 4 bedroom chalet-bungalow with detached double garage on the site frontage and erection of 7no new 4 bedroom houses with integral double garages in gated development to the rear of the new Holly Cottage, and part rear garden of Willow Tree Farm.
