The pandemic has led to significant delays in the timetable for design development and planning for the development, as well as a change in the climate for capital project fundraising on which the development depends. As a result the Board of Trustees of City & Guilds Art School Property Trust and City & Guilds of London Art School are now looking at a longer timetable for the project implementation, along with a strategy for a phased delivery. 1) "The development to which this permission relates must be begun no later than five years from the date of the planning application." 3) We would like this condition to be varied so that the project can be split into phases, with a Construction Method Statement for each phase submitted and approved before the commencement of each phase.
