Variation of conditions 1 (approved plans), 3 (materials to be used) and 4 (detailed drawings relating to windows), of planning permission 18/AP/0394 for: 'Construction of a part two/part single storey rear extension and rear dormer, raising the ridge by 450mm, installation of 2 x rooflights to main rear roof slope, single storey side extensions, new front porch and 2m high front fence to front' to allow for: - amended roof design - change of design of all roof lights from conservation roof lights to standard Velux roof lights - window to ground floor side elevation to be changed from obscure glazing clear glazing - front garden landscaping design - removal of tree in rear garden

Removal of laurel bush - There is a large laurel bush growing at the side of our property on our boundary with 173 Cheylesmore Drive. This is an area which consists of a narrow pathway between the two properties with access to the garden of 173 and a small area of land on our side of the fence. The bush has grown extremely tall and thick and blocks light to the upper windows of 173. It is also pushing their fence over and they have asked for it to be removed. I am concerned that the proximity of such a large trunk right against our foundations may also not be sensible if it is allowed to grow any larger. There is already a crack in this wall. The laurel doesn't really serve any useful purpose and is far too big for the area available. I think that a more appropriately sized shrub or small tree could be planted here to provide good green cover between us and our neighbours without being so large and out of control and would welcome suggestions for something suitable which would be good for wildlife.

Application for non-material amendments to 96189/FUL/18 including changes to approved main roof slopes to account for reduced central low pitched roof element, change to the external wall of the front facing bay window between ground and first floor windows from brickwork to render, mullions either side of central bay window to be thicker to accommodate steel posts to ground and first floor, change of brickwork on front gable elevation wall above bay window to render, replace hip tiles with lead roll at south west hipped edge of two storey rear extension, removal of several non-protected trees along back garden's side boundary, removal of low rise wall within back garden and installation of 1.8m high fencing along back garden's side (south-west) boundary in part to replace the removed trees as new boundary treatment at this point.

T1, 3x White Poplar trees located at the front of the church by the bus stop, reduce/ re pollard to most previous points by 2-3 metres to prevent weak regrowth from snapping out over footpath and bus stop. T2, 1x Holly tree located at the front of the church growing close to the fence and staring to affect church railings, Reduce height by 1.5 metres and hedge cut sides to match. T3, 1x Lime tree located in the rear car park close to the building, re pollard to previous points to prevent foliage from blocking gutters and rubbing on building. T4, 1x Holly tree located in the courtyard area, reduce the height by 50% and cut back from building, to stop shading from church window.
