Yew in rear garden behind Beech hedge / seating area. Crown Reduction. Reducing the height and spread of the tree by up to 4 metres, remove 1st low limb to crown lift over lawn. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. Height pre works 15m post 12m crown spread pre works 15m post 12m 6x2m down to 4.5x2m to maintain size. - 3. Repair holes in lawn area by rose bed in top corner of garden behind garage created while felling ash in neighbours. supply grass seed and approx 1 wheelbarrow worth of topsoil. 3. 7x5m damaging path and patio area. -5. Oak on boundary with Gatton road - Reduce limb growing through and spoiling the visual appearance of the adjacent Yew tree (item 4) to in line with fence Low 7? limb to reduce by approximately 5 metres. -6. 1. (TB2) twin-stemmed (from ground level) beech tree - Removal of one bough from the one stem. largely on my neighbour's side of our boundary fence but with some of the trunk in my garden, and one stem leaning westwards towards my house and thus almost completely overhanging my garden. After taking advice from a tree surgeon I would like to remove one bough from the one stem, reducing the weight over my garden. Please be aware that my house is 10 years old and so far my property has been damaged three times by beech trees blown over by prevailing SW winds. Several years ago a mature tree fell over from the garden of 4 Elvetham Close causing significant damage to the roof of my house. In February 2022 two mature beech trees growing next to each other fell from the garden of Chase House, causing significant damage to my garden, fences and outdoor furniture and more minor damage to the house. I, and my wife in particular, are now concerned about the stability of any trees that are within striking distance of our house, lean our way, and share root balls with other trees. In this respect TB2 is our main concern. We would like to keep such trees pruned and stable. Please also note that my answer the question about tree ownership relates to TB2 only - TSC1 is mine.
