Remove a dead hawthorn tree that partially collapsed into nearby trees and is overhanging the rear garden of 5 Briar Mead. Details of Condition 4. Tree protection as required by planning permission 22/AP/2987 dated 25/11/2022 for construction of a single storey rear extension with integrated canopy. Demolition of the existing shed and construction of a new shed building and bike store to the side. Facade alterations to replace the existing windows and cladding. Renovation of the existing porch/garage to include a new roof, cladding and glazing. Installation of two rooflights to the rear roof slope. Boundary alterations to continue the existing hit and miss brick wall. Excavation works to create a lower patio level linking the new shed building to the main house and minor landscaping works to reform the front and rear gardens.

The client is currently refurbing their garden area with plans to build an office space to the rear of the garden by items G5 & T4 so are aiming to clear the surrounding vegetation for the works. Item T3 is situated between 2 garden sheds and is starting to get too large for its location with the client growing increasingly concerned on branches/limbs falling and causing damage. The remaining items (T2 And G1) are to create a more open garden space. There are various other trees and shrubs growing up the boundary lines within the garden so the suggested works would have little impact on the amenity value of the garden and surrounding area.
