Tree A - Silver Birch - removal of tree required as tree surgeon has confirmed that it is rotting from the top down due and will pose a danger if not removed. With young children, we do not want a fatality. HAR/CA21. Tree B (Fern) and Bush C (Holly) - we have recently received planning to extend the dwelling and as part of this work, we would like to landscape the garden. The fern and holly bush take up c.14 feet at the back of the garden and we are looking to remove these but replace them with new trees. The trees would be replaced with pleached holly trees (Nellie Stevens type). The fence is also rotten behind and will need replacing. The large Eucalyptus tree adjacent to the silver birch would remain but the crown reduced slightly as it is very high. A sketch idea of how the garden would look eventually is also included.

The 3rd stem has a very sparse crown showing signs of major die back and evidence of decay at a height of approximately 4 metres within the main stem. 2. T2. Tree has thick low hanging canopy, impeding use of the private garden and likely to make contact with dwelling in 2 -3 years that may result in damage to a roof.

Variation of condition 16 of planning permission F/TH/20/1508 for the "Erection of 3No. 2-bed single storey dwellings with associated access and landscaping" to allow removal of hedgerow to the rear boundary, replacement of post and rail fencing with 1.8m close board timber fencing together with the removal of 1 no. Wild Cherry tree

The YEW tree shown on 1) & 2) of the attached document is the tree in question, 3) shows the poor condition of the tree in general. This tree is located within the grounds of the church on the Churchway (public road) boundary opposit to domestic dwellings and the end of the boughs are within 5 meters of the garden wall to these houses. There are 2 boughs which overhang the road as shown in 4) which also shows that the tree is adjacent to the steps from Churchway to the churchyard, an area frequented by churchgoers and public. Within the last year a bough has broken and damaged the fence 6), last week a bough snapped in the wind landing in the churchyard 5). During any windy periods the boughs of the tree creak, signifcantly bending and causing concern for the safety of those living or walking nearby. We have been advised to remove back to the trunk both overhanging boughs 4) and to remove all dead wood as can be reached within the tree canopy.
