Amendments to planning permission dated 18th October 2022 (RN:20/03307/FULL) for Comprehensive residential-led mixed-use redevelopment, including demolition of Kylestrome House, Lochmore House, Laxford House, Stack House, Walden House and structures attached to Coleshill Flats; tree removal and pollarding; erection of a partial sub-basement, basement and buildings varying in height from five to 11 storeys, to provide affordable homes (Class C3), market homes (Class C3), senior living accommodation (comprising Class C3 and / or Class C2), alongside a range of uses at partial sub-basement, basement and ground floor level including retail (Class A1), restaurants / cafes (Class A3), drinking establishments (Class A4); offices (Class B1), community space (Class D1), cinema (Class D2); use of the lower ground floor of the Coleshill Flats as retail and / or workspace (Class A1 and / or B1); provision of new pedestrian routes; basement car parking; basement and ground floor circulation, servicing, refuse, ancillary plant and storage; provision of hard and soft landscaping; landscaping works and creation of new play facilities at Ebury Square; rooftop PV panels; rooftop plant equipment; refurbishment and relocation of Arnrid Johnston obelisk to elsewhere within the site; refurbishment and relocation of the water fountain on Avery Farm Row; repair and relocation of the telephone boxes on Orange Square; and other associated works, namely to amend the wording of Condition 6 to allow for revised CIL phasing.

Tree Preservation Order Application - T1 Oak, remove deadwood and crown reduce by 3m to leave well balanced shape to reduce excessive shading of house and road (As amended 29.11.23)

T1 - Oak lateral reduction over and garden side by 2.5 meters crown lift to 3 meters T2- Oak lateral reduction over hose and garden by 2.5 meters crown lift to 3 meters These trees are almost touching the house and there is a massive problem with squirels entering the building Wiorks also to allow more light into the house and garden

T1 Yew tree adjacent to the front left corner of the house - Reduce/trim the lateral growth growing towards the house by approx 1m, to provide approx 1.5-2m clearance from the house.

T1 Deodar Cedar - Fell. T2 Conifer - Fell. T3 Rowan - Fell. T1 and T2 have damaged retaining walls and driveway and need removing to stop further damage and to allow safe repair of retaining wall. T3 is directly under telephone lines and is also located within 1m of house foundations. Specifically with T1 and T2 ground movement has already occurred as retaining wall has started to fail. No proposal to plant replacement trees in place of these.

1st tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 4 meters to 3.5 meters. The proposed trimming will result in a more symmetric crown. 2nd tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 4.5 meters to 4 meters. Some of the branches are touching the neighbour's house. 3rd tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 4.5 meters to 4 meters. The proposed trimming will result in a more symmetric crown. 4th tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 5 meters to 4 meters. 5th tree: Approx. 15% crown thinning 6th tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 5 meters to 4 meters.

T1 Walnut tree - Remove to ground level due to its close proximity to the house causing problems with the recently fitted solar panels. The tree also causes the house to be dark and damp due as its close proximity and the shade it causes. The properties owners would like to plant another tree in a more suitable position- further away from the house and at the back to stop these same problems arising in the future

All within W1 - T1 Oak Tree (on map)- Rear Boundary beyond stream - Reduce back to rear lawn boundary line,to previous cutting points 2-3m off; T2 Sycamore (on map) - Rear boundary beyond stream - Reduce height by 4m, reduce house side back to the edge of the ditch/stream approx. 3m; T3 Sycamore (on map) - Rear boundary beyond stream - Reduce height by 3-4m, reduce house side to edge of ditch/stream approx. 2-3m. Reason: To control the size of the trees for their location (they are on the edge of a steam/ditch. Also to allow more light into the rear of the property.
