Works to oak tree covered by LBE ORDER NO 66 1977:- crown thin by 20%, lift crown to 4m from ground level without removing any scaffold limbs and reduce low extraneous lateral growth towards the neighbouring gardens shed and fence line by up to 1.5m if required to balance the crown lift.

Remove a dead hawthorn tree that partially collapsed into nearby trees and is overhanging the rear garden of 5 Briar Mead. In addition clear over hanging branches up to 2.5 metres from ground level that are overhanging the fence line to allow the installation of a new boundary fence and to protect the roof of the garden shed that sits underneath the trees as the felt is being ripped and damaged.

SECTION 211 NOTIFICATION FOR WORKS IN A CONSERVATION AREA G1, Mixed Species - Remove dead stems from ivy clad hazel to approx. 500mm from ground level; maintain clearance of lower branches over the driveway to a height of approx. 4.5m from ground level and 0.5m from kerb line. G2, Mixed Species - Prune back low branches in contact with the wall, fence to maintain a clearance of up to 1.0m where possible; prune low branches over paths to statutory height of 2.5m from ground level; prune branches over property roof to achieve a clearance of approx. 1.5m, targeting secondary points of pruning (approx. 1.5m lateral growth); remove Elder growing close to the fence and treat stump. G4, Mixed Species - Prune back low branches in contact with the fence to source; prune overhanging branches back to party line along entire group, to the tops of the plants; remove Elder and rose growing on the vicarage side of the fence; prune back remaining Elders back to party line and away from the fence; prune Elder to clear BT cable. T37, Horse Chestnut - Remove chestnut growing next to the fence to approx. 50mm from ground level. T38, Ash - Remove major and moderate deadwood; prune secondary branch to reduce potential notch stress by drop crotch pruning longer lower branches (see photo). T39, Lime - Raise low branches to approx. 4.0m by removing branch over shed and x 2 over neighbouring fence to source; remove x 2 low branches towards the Ash to source; raise remaining branches to approx. 4.0m from ground level by targeting secondary points of pruning; remove basal epicormic and elder. T45, Sycamore - Reduce regrowth where squirrel damage is compromising structural integrity; remove moderate and major deadwood; maintain statutory clearance over the tow path. G5, 8 x Yew, Hazel - Maintain statutory height clearance of 2.5m over the tow path; remove moderate and major deadwood over the tow path; remove cluster of hazel in the corner of the chain-link & wooden fence. T43, Sycamore - Remove major and moderate deadwood from over the footpath. T42, Sycamore - Remove major and moderate deadwood. G6, Laurel, Yew - Prune to maintain a clearance of approx. 1.0m from the fence where possible; this will not include whole tree removal unless stems are less than 75mm in diameter; maintain statutory height clearance over public footpath. 1. Ash tree (on boundary fence) - Remove one substantial limb and two smaller side lateral limbs overhanging greenhouse and shed before any damage is caused. Work to be carried out by Cederdale. Tree 1, Turkey oak : Crown reduce the low lateral branch gowning to the north by up to 5 meters making two pruning cuts of approximately 50mm in diameter. Remove one 50mm diameter branch growing to the west. Tree 2, Turkey oak : Remove 4 x branches of around 5cm diameter x 6m long; plus, 1 low branch over hanging the public walkway - again around 5cm in diameter x 6m long. Tree 3, Turkey oak : Remove the very low branches resting on the fence /shed (around 5 branches at 5cm diameter x 2m long)

T1 Beech - Crown reduce by 2m leaving tree 8m high with crown radius of 4m - to reduce shading and take branches of sheds and fences. V small garden overshadowed by tree. T2 Ash - Fell as self seeded speciman growing through hedgeline

Works to trees in a Conservation Area: T1 - Self-sown triple stemmed Ash tree, approx 9m in height, very close to right hand boundary and growing through a prunus which we would like to preserve for its fruit. Works - Remove by felling at ground level T2 - Self-sown Ash tree similar in height, again very close to the boundary fence and the garden shed at the bottom of the garden. Roots pushing up paving, and potentially the foundation of the shed. Works - Remove and the stump either removed or poisoned.
