Notice of intent to carry out works to trees protected by Tree Preservation Order 51a/00 - 3x Ash (G1) Fell trees, and replace with 4 x Pyrus chanticleer 3m height The trees are in poor condition with multiple cavities due to the need for regular pruning; the trees shed deadwood in high winds causing anxiety as the trees are near the dwellings. They cast excessive shade over the neighbour's property and residence, and the stems incremental growth is damaging the boundary fence.

T23 English oak: prune to give no more than 2m clearance from the fabric of the dwelling. T25 & T26 English oaks: Lateral crown reduction of their southern canopies only, to no higher than 6.5m above ground level, and no further than the garden boundary fence line. Remove deadwood as necessary.

T1 Goat willow (over hanging boundary fence) - tree is decayed at base and covered with ivy and presents risk to Guinness property - fell to ground level. T2 Goat willow (large leaning tree over property boundary) - tree is risk to Guinness property and neighbouring property - Fell to ground level. T3 Sycamore - South east canopy - Branches growing towards Guinness property, 14-19 Hardie Close - reduce branches to give 3m clearance from dwelling, where possible cut back branches to main stem to ensure good clearance for future growth. East canopy - Branches overhanging communal area only - crown lift to 6m, reduce remaining overhanging canopy by up to 2.5m (back to boundary fence) and reshape upper canopy where necessary. All pruning to be back to suitable growth points or branch union, leaving tree in good form
