T.P.O No.26 of 1990, T1 - T21 - Crown lift the lateral limbs to appropriate growth points up to 8 metres height along length of the field and woodland boundary including over the stables.

1. (TB2) twin-stemmed (from ground level) beech tree - Removal of one bough from the one stem. largely on my neighbour's side of our boundary fence but with some of the trunk in my garden, and one stem leaning westwards towards my house and thus almost completely overhanging my garden. After taking advice from a tree surgeon I would like to remove one bough from the one stem, reducing the weight over my garden. Please be aware that my house is 10 years old and so far my property has been damaged three times by beech trees blown over by prevailing SW winds. Several years ago a mature tree fell over from the garden of 4 Elvetham Close causing significant damage to the roof of my house. In February 2022 two mature beech trees growing next to each other fell from the garden of Chase House, causing significant damage to my garden, fences and outdoor furniture and more minor damage to the house. I, and my wife in particular, are now concerned about the stability of any trees that are within striking distance of our house, lean our way, and share root balls with other trees. In this respect TB2 is our main concern. We would like to keep such trees pruned and stable. Please also note that my answer the question about tree ownership relates to TB2 only - TSC1 is mine.

Pin Oak (LHS side of property, close to boundary) - Reduce the height and spread of the tree by up to 2.5m. The lower SE, S & SW (overhanging neighbouring property) laterals have been reduced heavily in the past in an attempt to pull into shape - reduce regrowth back to suitable live growth in line with remaining canopy. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. Remove any major deadwood over 20mm diameter. Suitable access for our tracked MEWP - take boards to protect lawn from track damage. Measurements: Pre works - 26x19m Post works - 23.5x16.5m.

T1. Beech (neighbours tree, tag no.0795) - Included main union at 3m where trunk divides into two co-dominant stems. Reduce the lateral spread of the canopy overhanging the rear gardens by up to 3 metres. No height to be taken out of the tree. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. Any major deadwood (over 25mm diameter) above the gardens is to be removed too. T2. Sycamore (neighbours tree, tag no.0796) - Suppressed tree with squirrel damage. Reduce overhanging encroachment back to boundary line and raise canopy over rear garden of no. 11 Charlwood Place to provide 3m ground clearance. Reduction of lateral canopy spread over private gardens to allow more light into properties. 19x12m to 19x9m.

T1. Plum group front boundary - Crown Reduction. Reducing the height and spread of the tree by up to 2 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth 8x7m down to 6x5m encroaching on drive entrance 11. Yew rear garden of 23 - Crown Reduction. Reducing the height and spread of the tree by up to 1 metre. AMENDED SPECIFICATION FOR T3 SEE CONDITION 2 T1. Chestnut front boundary - Crown bias to the north. I would recommend a Crown Reduction. Reducing the height of the tree by up to 2 metres and the northern canopy by up to 1 metre and reduce the protruding limb to the west by 2 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. 17x12m down to 15x11m works to balance and tidy the tree following the loss of the adjacent tree in previous storm. T2. Lime front boundary - Historically been reduced with approximately 6-7 metres regrowth from old points with obvious decay at these points, I would recommend a Crown Reduction. Reducing the height and spread of the tree by 3-4 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. Raise crown over road to provide 5 metres clearance from ground level by the removal of secondary and sub-branches. 20x15m down to 16x12m works to alleviate the stress on the old decaying pruning points and allow light into the front of the property. T3. Cedar front boundary - Crown Thin. Removing selected branches in the upper canopy to reduce current density by up to 15% remove broken / damaged branches and major deadwood greater than 20mm in diameter. Raise crown over road to provide 5 metres clearance from ground level by the removal of secondary and sub-branches. 18x12m tree. works required to prevent further storm damage

2/TPO/00025: T1 Horse Chestnut- To remove 2 x lower lateral limbs over road back to main stem, crown lift over road to 6m above ground level. To reduce end weight of large lowest lateral limbs over road and crown lift to 5m above ground level over Rabbit Lane and Old Stable Mews. T2 Beech- To crown lift to 5m above ground level over Rabbit Lane. To reduce end weight of large lateral limb growing towards Bexwell House to clear boundary wall. T3 Oak (Small) - To crown lift to 5m above ground level over Rabbit Lane only

Crown reduction by 1.8m-2.4m to previous pruning points, and lateral reduction to boundary fence line to 1no. Horse Chestnut and 1no. Sycamore Tree (The Stables). Tree Preservation Order 17/1987.

Thomas Wooster has requested the possibility of leaving a large dead log on the floor next to the base of the tree for a seating area. (G2) Group of burnt trees around the barn site: 5 x Ash section fell to ground level, 2 x Oaks remove deadwood, 1 x Hawthorn: section fell to ground level. Reasons: trees have been damaged by barn fire. (G3) Group of 4 x Ash trees: section fell to ground level. Reasons: Inonotus Hispidus bracket fungi killing trees. (G4) Row of trees on boundary to playing fields: remove major deadwood overhanging playing area. Reasons: safety concerns, large dead branches. (G5) 2 x Oak trees: remove major deadwood and sever ivy, 1 x dead tree covered in ivy: shape ivy into dome (tree seems stable), 7 x dead elms: section fell to ground level, 1 x Ash: remove large stem protruding over road.
