The specified works are apart of an on going maintenance plan to keep the subject trees to s suitable size for the grounds of the flats. If left unattended they will outgrow their environment and cause stress and apprehension. The proposal is unlikely to have an adverse impact either on the health of the tree or the character and amenities of the local area.

Cut back encroaching London Plane branches away from the neighbouring flats by 1-2m as per the red line site plan enclosed. Small mixed species trees that are directly growing next to the fence line will be section felled to 50mm from ground level to prevent future encroachment.

(T1) Ash Tree - overall crown reduction of ash tree by 3.5 metres and cut back overhanging limbs into our property at 4 Uxbridge Road to the fence line. The Ash causes excessive shading. Tree overhangs a lot into our garden, blocking out sunlight to our property throughout the day. In addition this requires us to use excessive electricity and lighting throughout the day inside our property. The tree causes excessive debris throughout the year (leaves and branches), in particular during the Autumn and Winter months. Some branches are beginning to reach the gutters of neighbouring flats.
